Actually not that common, because most hurricanes smash into Japan, Taiwan, or the Phillipines (poor suckers).
But yeah. Pretty big one too. Might not have to go to school on Monday :P

Anyway, a powerup maze seems to be viable, with each "room" being a large hazardous planet/landscape/challenge, with traps geared to make life difficult for some powerups.
Say, one part focusing on quick movement, with disappearing floors and fast hazards.

...IMO that sniper frankly doesn't look that good :P
The only thing that could make him badass is the stage. As one comment said, it'd be awesome if the boss actually snipes and generally annoys you throughout the stage instead of being like most bosses, being busy setting up traps for themselves inside the arena. :P

Remember those tower stages in NSMBW. Those aimed fireballs are veeery annoying in multiplayer, especially if you're basically shoving each other out of the way/generally getting in each other's way.

Hmm. I chose F. :3
A just....looks awful, B looks rather derpy, C...wtf. That creepy face. (wasittogetvotesfrombronies) D doesn't look like a robot, E looks too much like am airline attendant, G is a little blocky/boring, H is rather bland and undetailed.
Tough choice between F and I, yeah. F looks a lot more badass, except that they say Call won't have human intelligence. :/
Oh well.
Edit: Hmm, betting on that E, F, and I will win, judging from the comments.

Every new generation will have people seeing it as stupid/retarded/unoriginal. (Same thing with diferent franchises)
Though I suppose they might be running out of ideas for legendaries :P

Eh, Doublade sounds not too bad, though the pattern on the sword is....boring. Why not something more interesting? :/

A retardedly huge amount of gore is probably just for laughs, but if it's actually simulated/looks pretty realistic, well, it just ruins the game if gore is spewing everywhere every few seconds. People are not pinatas :P
Profanity too. Swearing too much is just lame. I hate people who swear to make themselves sound cool. Then younger kids hear it and do the same thing.
A little is good enough to establish the mood. Overdoing it is just stupid.

Anyway, LM wouldn't have blood and profanity like that, since, y'know, it's about ghostbusting :P

(hmm, we should show something about the work behind every planet, something like a video showing how a planet like that one, something players would probably give about ten seconds of attention to per play, and breaking down appox. how much time it took each person :P That would illustrate the difficulty of creating a level)

Nice logs. They could be used in a few places actually.
The mushroom isn't bad, but yeah, maybe a bit less symmetrical? :P
Judging from the pitifully small amount of knowledge I have about Blender, it shouldn't be that hard to distort the mushrooms, right? It'd be nice to have slightly different models instead of one duplicated model.
