I am not counting King Boo's Illusion. I am only counting the 5 G.H.O.S.T. Mansions. ____________________

Gloomy Manor, since it reminded me the most of the first LM, an actual MANSION (save for Treacherous Mansion none of the others were really "mansions").
and also most importantly: It was the E3 Demo available to be played at E3 2011. There was no way to describe how much I wanted to play that demo! ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. My favorite was Secret Mine. Despite the fact that it was short, it was really cool, and I LOVED the boss fight. ____________________

Agreed. An unusual amount of people/noobs find it to be extremely hard tho and thus hate it. i personally found it easy and creative. To beat that boss you had to be flexible, which Is something that I liked
However Secret Mine does lose alot of points from me since it only had 3 main non-boss and non-infestation missions (all the others had 5. Nintendo was just really lazy. They could easily have made up 2 more missions and expanded the Mansion) ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. I guess you could say that, but remember, its about QUALITY, not QUANTITY. I don't think there was one filler mission in the entire mansion. All of the other mansions had filler (through polterpup/spider cleaning), but this mansion was always throwing new stuff at you. Plus, I loved how deep you went underground, and the music reminded me of Portal. ____________________

Well Agreed (although I don't really consider the Spider Cleaning a filler mission, as it has a purpose and you'd have to do it anyway, unlike the Polterpup missions which were just completely random. However I do admit that the Spider Cleaning was boring as hell).
Buut I honestly think Nintendo should also have included a remake of the original Luigi's Mansion (the MANSION, not the game), so you could explore at least parts of it again. Maybe for that segment they could also have brought back the original LM ghosts? It could have been a great Bonus Mansion ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. That would be nice... but it would have made the game TOO long IMO. I think the length of Dark Moon is perfect as it is.
But another thing I wish they would fix - have a mission where you could explore the entire mansion and open every room. No mission, just some good old exploration. ____________________

Posted by mariogalaxythree A game can NEVER be too long (unless it's named Xenoblade Chronicles). I found this game to be short-medium long (but it was longer than the original at least). I wish it was longer well in the Spider Cleaning mission you can enter all the rooms in Gloomy Manor and explore as much as you like, but you won't get much from it (however it is useful in that you can find secret places with treasures, so you can visit those places on other missions and get 3 star rank more easily ) ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. But still, you cannot go into the boss area. I am just saying there should be a mission with no objective and you literally can go anywhere. ____________________

Posted by mariogalaxythree what does it matter? It's not like there was anything interesting in the boss room/Cellar anyway Besides getting to enter all rooms except one isn't really that bad ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. ICE LEVELS FOR THE WIN :D:D
Plus, the music during the boss (e3 trailer) was just so bone-chilling to listen to. ____________________

Posted by mariogalaxythree oh yea the music. Seriously you gotta love teh music for the fight. Secret Mine's BOSS was my favourite too (closely tied with the final boss and Treacherous Mansion boss) and geo while Xenoblade is awesome it's almost impossible to 1005. I'll sooner beat FE: Awakening in Lunatic Mode+ than manage to mop up every last side quest in Xenoblade (not that I won't try ) ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy. Treacherous Mansion had a good boss theme, but I can kinda tell, the physics with the big suit of armor seemed a bit...forced. ____________________

I loved Treacherous Mansion. It was the only one mansion that actually was a bit challenging... ____________________ a |

The part that really destroyed me was at the end, where the mummies and sneakers are attacking you at the same time. I literally had to get the Super Poltergust just to beat it ____________________

Treacherous Mansion, the front yard of it was so epic, and the inside was too. |

I don't really have the game, but from what I have seen from all these walkthroughs and stuff, I'd have to say Treacherous Mansion. ____________________
