well, I mean, I still think it's a valid point
just take those insane machine guns and guns that shoot tons of bullets at once out of store, then we have some more logic |

lol no. If you want self-defense, get a freaking dog.
At least you won't use it to kill your loved ones out of uncontrollable anger. Or your loved ones use it to kill themselves. Gun ownership does drive up successful suicide rates since it's so easy to pull off. Even during times of mass shootings, you really think you can stop it with your gun? Try aiming that thing if you're not trained like a police. You can't. And don't forget friendly fire. I'm all for stricter gun ownership. |

dogs are usually friendly, though.
get a tomcat that likes to scratch things and isn't shy, that'll do the trick! |

attack dog:
Pros: Intimidating, less chance of death, operates independently even when you're gone Cons: Medical bills, dog food, regularly have to pick up its crap, probably inconvenient for anyone visiting unless restrained, can't be taken with you gun: Pros: Intimidating, easy to use, works quickly, loud and alerts your family/neighbors, easy to store (and conceal), doesn't need to be used often Cons: Has stigmas attached, killing in self-defense gets you charged with manslaughter, hard to buy/get a permit, easy to use if i missed anything feel free to mention |

I believe guns are to blame partially. No one should have a fire arm of that caliber (get it, caliber hehe). Why would someone have to have a semiautomatic 100-round assault rifle. WTF is the point of that. WTF do you need self defense in a country where the police is readily available. This isnt 1850, cities have police stations almost everywhere. Let them do their job, don't let people buy guns like they are toys.
Also I believe there is a problem ingrained within all countries now, with radicalism, America and Europe alike. It's really hard to fight because you don't know who's bad and who isn't. I believe if Trump wins something will be done about all this. If Hillary wins, nothing will be done, just like Obama's administration, all he does is condemn the attacks and backs off. How is that gonna stop a huge number of lunatics from firing up any place? Action must be taken. And yes, it is a very confusing and tough issue to deal with because you don't want to target any specific set of people, but at the same time you don't want any more attacks on country soil. This was a hate crime against the LGBT community, other times it was attacks against the Christian and Jewish communities. A bunch of Jews left Germany and France because the antisemitism is getting out of hand. Why can these people make us feel unwelcome in our own homes, while they are sitting pretty and planning an attack. |

dunno what Trump would do anyway, but he wouldn't do something against firearms
when shootings happened in France, he used that as an argument, as in "see, the innocent people had no weapons to try defending themselves" except the same thing just happened in USA. so much for that ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

I did not visit the website for much long, but I could see it was quite broken when it went "live". Now that's just great.

Treeki is one of the owners, but he doesn't care anymore and doesn't want to involve himself.
Server owner is Aaron, who doesn't do much beyond keeping the server running. There are other 'owners' involved but they're long gone. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |
