Well it was Nintendo of AMERICA who said it. Maybe Good Guy Europe will get it (maybe you would get 10 GAMECUBE games instead? Latest news! Nintendo is apparently going to release a HD version of the original Wii Sports, and also include ONLINE MULTIPLAYER! MM720's opinion: Seriously. They put online multiplayer in THIS but not in games such as Pikmin 3 and SM3DW? oh god why..... Also Pokemon X/Y will only suppord 3D in battles and a few other certain places, while the overworld will always be 2D (And 3D on during battles causes framedrops if certain attacks have too many effects in their animation). MM720's opinion: Same for me. I almost never use 3D anyway. Also this will make the 2DS perfect for the games. Well some of their most highly anticipated Wii U titles have it (MK8, SSB4), but yeah they should focus more on online multiplayer and less on... co-op/4-player multiplayer (not saying they should quit it, but why cant we have both?)
Also MORE NEWS: Nintendo has hired Playstation's marketing agency after Sony ditched them for some other ones (So now they will be the ones making Nintendo's ads and commercials). I think this was a really smart move, considering nintendo needs to advertise the Wii U more as well as BETTER! (Also it will be fun seeing how the Playstation's former marketing company will now be against them. I always liked the "Wii would like to play" commercials. Many comercials in general are obnoxious but there are also great ads too and also ads which people are neutral to. Latest news! It's been announced that SoulCalibur HD Online can be released for Wii U if there's enough demand. Namco Bandai even outright told us to go spam the game producer's twitter account to show if there's a demand: @hoshino_calibur
COME ON PEOPLE LET'S SPAM THAT S***! We need to show game developers that there are more Wii U fans out there than most of them think, and that they should release more such games for Wii U. How do they expect the Wii U to succeed if they don't want to create games for it?
Not going to go off topic, but I dont understand the game producers logic: "We WANT the Wii U to succeed, but currently its not doing it so lets just make it even more unpopular by releasing highly anticipated 3rd party games on all other consoles but not on Wii U". WTF? "WayForward Wants To Create A Pony Game" "WayForward, the developer behind DuckTales Remastered and Shantae , have revealed on Reddit that they would love to make a game in the My Little Pony series. WayForward’s Game Director Adam Tierney explained in a Ask Me Anything thread that there’s a lot of developers at WayForward who would absolutely love to work on a Pony game. Tierney said that if people want a My Little Pony game then they really need to contact Hasbro. Miiverse and the Nintendo Network are supposed to be down tomorrow for a longer period of maintenance than usual. Some people specualate it has to do with a new Wii U update that was pushed back from Summer 2013.
