Granted, it is fast and free, but only available at all in an area inside a 2km radius of the south pole.

My sister's computer was automatically "upgraded" to Windows 10 a few weeks ago. I'm not sure how I haven't gotten those repeated popups begging me to update, but I'm glad I've managed to avoid it somehow. I'm really getting tired of Microsoft and all the other software companies pulling stuff like this. I'm seriously considering switching operating systems at this point. |

It's been miserably hot where I live for weeks now and it looks like it will finally be cooling down in a few days. I hate summer.
Also, on the topic of measuring systems and such: I personally believe we should all use metric for weights and measures and Fahrenheit for temperatures, although I can see the advantages of Celsius/Kelvin for things like scientific study and Imperial measurements for casual use. Thankfully I know both systems pretty well (that's what happens when you move across half the continent seven times by age 15), so conversions aren't quite as inconvenient for me as they are for others. |

USA and Belize and Liberia. Too stubborn, I guess. I don't know.
The USA is also one of only two countries (the other is Eritrea) who require their citizens to pay taxes to them even if those citizens are living outside the country. |
