I recently went back and completely revamped one of my old custom levels, Championship Galaxy! I think this level tops the Grandmaster Galaxy, but what do you think?

If you want to play it go here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j0f9yx04ifvl1o4/Championship.rar?dl=0

Features two custom stars and two custom green stars.

Nice level! Best I've seen in a while. Here's some feedback;

-There are a bit too many background and music switches. (Melty Molten Galaxy with World S background as goes terrible together :P)
-That last part before you obtain the star is a bit close to enemy spam. :P

but overall, great level. will you be showing us the Green Stars soon?

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, I don't even know if I can make edits to this course anymore (it crashes Whitehole when I attempt to load it, no joke). Thankfully the last edits I needed to make to the course could be done in Anarchy.

I'll address your criticism...

-Actually, there's fewer background switches than Grandmaster I think... I'll admit Melty Monster with the World S Background is a little strange...

-Compared to the swarm of Hammer Bros. and Boomerang Bros. at the end of Grandmaster, this is pretty easy. There are plenty of tricks you can do to avoid getting hit alltogether by the enemies. How do you think I beat the comet? :P

Yes, i'll do videos of the Green Stars soon too, as well as a look at the original level I released 3 years ago.

Uhh...editing a level in Anarchy will cause it to crash Whitehole due to the way Anarchy recompresses levels or something ._.

Um, I'm trying to play the level and it's not showing up in Riivolution or anything.

I never actually tested if the pack worked myself. I was hoping this wouldn't happen. I'll look into it and see if I can fix it sit tight.

EDIT:

Hmm, it works for me, are you doing anything wrong? It also seems I forgot SystemMessage.arc in the file, i'll have to add that.

Just send me whatever xml you're using in that screenshot there. The one in the download results in a blank page.

Heh, I think I like the old one a little bit better. It's still great for a Galaxy custom level, nevertheless. (also, nice green star placement)

This level is just fantastic. Great (creative) use of the in-game objects, possibly the best level I've seen using only objects. I'm impressed with the work you put into it as well as applying your knowledge of how to make an interesting galaxy.

Uhh, as far as criticism goes, there's not much I can say, maybe adding a few decorations just for the extra look (floating space rocks, a distant planet, a few extra flowers-maybe?, etc.)

How could you like the old one better? :( It's worse in almost every single way. I tried hard to make many improvments.

Oh, only because I preferred the area where you hop over firebars over that water area. :P

The fire bar area is still in the final version. Just after the water part. :P

Did you re-add that SystemMessage yet? It shows a black screen after the wrist strap screen now.

I made a mistake thinking I made a mistake. SystemMessage is in the rar. If it still not loading for you try using another SMG2 XML with all the files from StageData, ObjectData, LocalizeData, and AudioRes included in the download.
