This one has potential!

Yes, definitely.

I like the models, but they need some tweaking

Bit vague, am I right?

back in 2007 I'd use IE too... people don't know

because IE works fine for what they do, because sites are made to be compatible with it, because many people use it, because... vicious cycle, lock-in

the same shit will happen with Windows 10 if there are too many sheep accepting it

meaning that someday games will be made exclusively for DX12, and non-Win10 users will have to resort to compatibility layers

I now have even more reason to support compatibility layers .-.

Title says it all. Anyone know of a good way to capture Wii gameplay? I need something I can run while using Riivolution, e.g. for NMG video purposes? ._.

Doesn't matter if hardware, software, etc., and I couldn't care less about price. Anyone have any ideas?

Uhhhm, emulator + screen capture tool?

No
a) Lag
b) ASM h4x0rz
Thanks for the suggestion, though ._._.

Posted by PaperplateismGuy
I have a capture card that records the screen (output). Those just take the av output from the cables from your wii and records them via usb to a computer.

THAT'S PERFECT!! NOW GIVE ME THE MODEL NAME :U

Posted by PaperplateismGuy
You could use one of those, or you could get me to record them for you.

I appreciate the offer ( :3 )...but tbh I'd prefer the independence of having my own ._.

I guess the best thing for quality would be a Wii U and an HDMI capture card.

Yeah...perhaps...

Elgato Game Capture HD60 is awesome. And really expensive.

Alright, I'll keep that in mind ^-^

Posted by StapleButter
emulators have built-in recording functions that produce output that looks like it's played at fullspeed
Posted by StapleButter
as long as your system can manage an okay-ish speed, it's good

I wasn't talking about output...I still have to PLAY at 15% - 30% most of the time D:

Also last I tried Dolphin's recording features, only the audio came out at fullspeed, video was somewhere between playing speed and fullspeed >.<

as for ASM hacks, well dunno, but there's a way

...to convert a Riivo patch into a modified DOL? ._.

I fail to see why it'd be impossible

>Implying I actually know how to do so or how to find out how to do so
>I don't
>Yes, I tried Googling it in every possible manner

FFS I need an excuse to have something to put on a list of things I want for my Birthday, stop shooting me in the foot. I appreciate the gesture, but... XD

I'm not 'shooting you in the foot'

Eh...fair enough... XD

Posted by StapleButter
if you're set about getting a capture card, go that way

I am ._.

just saying that "I don't know how to do X" is never a wall ;)

I agree. It's a drawbridge, and it just needs to be lowered...

...(is that at ALL what you had in mind? .-. )

Effectively. But how can I open or convert szs files in JaiSeq.arc? SZS Modifier not working :(
So we will get MIDI files? And for the instruments, where are they located?

The instruments are in the AW files in the "Waves" folder.

Uhh...I think. I know there are instrument sounds in there, and I suspect those are the ones used...

Quick question, do you have the file name of Cosmic Mario by chance? I can't find him anywhere in the games files.

Posted by SunakazeKun
I think it was GhostPlayer.arc.

Nope, it's /ObjectData/GhostMario.arc , and you can guess what /ObjectData/GhostLuigi.arc is XD

So, the program that says it'll fix my problem, is a problem? That makes a whole lot of sense.
Way to go Microsoft. And no, it didn't fix my problem.

Wait...what was the problem? (Not the "problem", the problem.)

I figured I'd tell you that your image in the first post is 404ing

It works fine for me, oddly. Anywaves, just replaced with an imgur mirror. Does it work now?

(also, if you could shrink that signature, it'd be cool)

(Really? It's smaller than the other one you said was okay...but sure, will do.)
