This is what the latest 'versoin' looks like. Don't know if anyone still cares for this. It needs a rewrite (again), if there's interest in this project I'll invest some more time in it. I do need some help sorting out New Super Mario Bros. Wii problems and something with DOL injection. Anyone care to aid me? ____________________ |

It is a reference to the misspelt 'version' in the titlebar. I need to fix that sometime.
Oh well. Over the past year I've somewhat mastered XML parsing (been tinkering with it for the past 4 months for something else). I'll start working on it again slowly, but I can't do this alone. Would really appreciate some help if I run into trouble again (which I certainly will). New Super Mario Bros. Wii still hangs when using the famous StapleButter Dolphin-from-a-folder thing and Dolphin forums don't give a shit about me and this project. Heck, I'll make this Kuribo exclusive for now. Screw that community. ____________________ |

I created an account just to tell you:
YES please keep working on this project! I love playing mario hacks but my old Wii broke so I'm using Dolphin now. Really excited to see v2.0 released! |

Developer (@Anthe), please make your next version fix this issue:
When you enable a mod, it replaces files in the games decompiled directory, but when you are done playing that mod and want to play another mod, it extracts its files to the decompiled folder too. If there are any files that are not replaced, then the previous mods textures/maps/intro/etc might linger into the next mod. I've tried the Disable button, and the Reset button, but neither fix the issue. Currently the only way to flush out all mods is to delete the games decompiled directory and re-decompile it. But this is cumbersome and unintuitive. Please make it auto-reset the decompiled directory after quitting a mod, or at the least, make the reset button function. Thanks for your hard work on the program so far! I love it! |

Posted by benfucius Well that issue was prevented. The programs keeps track of what was replaced with a patch and should normally put these files back when you apply a new one. I'll test the current version to see if there's any trouble with it. As I said, I'll be redoing this but currently I don't have the time. I'll probably start end of June-ish :p Sorry for the inconvenience, haha. EDIT: Oh well, something seems to be broken, yes. I've tested it and files get mixed up. ____________________ |

@ToadKidGaming: You may need to edit the XML file to make sure the files are pointing to the correct directory. I had to modify a few XML files with the absolute path of the mod, then they worked. Try it.
@Anthe: Ok thanks for acknowledging. I understand real life takes precedence. Excited to see the next build though, I've RSS'ed your github page to watch for updates |

I think I could see myself having a use for this sort of program. I make a lot of custom levels for New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and to test I either have to load a rather unreliable improvised Dolphin method devised by Arisotura, or use my Homebrew-enabled Wii console to play the levels, which can be a but cumbersome 'cause I test them quite frequently. This Dolphiilution program could give me a faster, more convenient but also reliable alternative. ____________________ I got nothing. To put here, that is. |

Unfortunately this still uses that very unreliable method which for some reason crashes New Super mario Bros. Wii . Before y'all start getting high hopes, the new version will only work if you have a Linux machine somewhere. The new method is pretty much instant though. ____________________ |
