Until now, Obj_args have always been displayed in hex, in both Whitehole and the ObjectDB.
But I figured, why? Decimal feels more natural to a lot of people. Hex is only really useful when you have bitmasks and similar things, which shouldn't be the case in SMG given the number of Obj_args available. So I decided that the next Whitehole release will display Obj_args in decimal format. And changed the ObjectDB accordingly. Now, I'm curious about people's opinions. Am I going to face a wave of complaints for having done that without consulting anyone? ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Both, it depends because there are times where hex is needed to make a connection in the maps and other times where decimal is needed. I know from experience. So in effect there really is no need to have this ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

Like, for hex I think it's easier for things like fog with controlling the color, but in other instances like most objects it would be like decimal ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

I looked at the Obj_args used for PostFogArea. It appears that each color component is stored in a separate Obj_arg.
Hex would have made sense if all the components were stored together. But in this case, decimal can work fine. What gets trickier will be implementing a color picker thing in Whitehole. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |
