How do you make animated tiles in a tileset? I'd like to make a "Black Castle" tileset with the spaces between bricks glowing blue, then dimming, and then repeating. Here's a (rough) example of what I have so far:

Mario, Luigi, and the Toads set out to collect Green Stars across the Leaf Kingdom to defeat the invading Bowser and his minions!

Not sure if a Toad and Toadette can both be referred to as Toads.

Nitpicking aside though, been looking forward to this hack for awhile. Best of luck!

Yep. From what I've heard, some people even make it a habit of trying to develop techniques to induce lucid dreams, such as "reality checks". One of them is something like regularly trying to push a finger through the palm of your hand (which obviously shouldn't happen in real life), to the point that you repeat this practice in your dreams as well. The intended effect is that your finger does go through your hand then, which triggers a conscious, lucid dream.

Dunno if that stuff works, since I haven't tried it yet.

I hate getting dreams where you're trapped to your bed, you're screaming, and you don't even realize it was a dream until you ponder about it after you wake up because of how realistic everything is, down to the exact damn lighting of the room and same angle of your head.

I believe that StapleButter is correct, and that what Baby Luigi is describing is what is known as sleep paralysis. In sleep paralysis, you are unable to move any part of your body, and oftentimes people hallucinate creatures lying on you/holding you down, or creatures in the corner of the room. I believe that I've experienced sleep paralysis once, but for the couple of seconds that I was in it I hated it as well.

From what I've read (not from personal experience), some people try to intentionally enter sleep paralysis ("keeping the mind awake while the body goes to sleep"), and use the state as a gateway to dreams that feel much more distinct and real compared to lucid dreams, while potentially more frightening than sleep paralysis...

...it's also known as astral projection...

That's where the discussion gets really strange.
