"xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT

You have a bad rom. Download a new clean one, without SM64DSe patching.

Lately, I've been learning a lot of C++ Qt, and I made a GUI for the chmod Linux command.
[thumbnail]
Features:
- You can run the command straight from the program, without touching a terminal.
- Your most recent path is remembered in recentpath.txt
- You can copy the command
Download
I'll upload the source code tomorrow, the comments are messy and it's almost 1 AM here...

I mean, one Command is much quicker than Browse, Click, Click, Click, Generate, and Run.

Not necessarily. Finding your file via a GUI is easier, you don't have to remember the number for Read, Write, and Execute. As for the run button, I can look into being able to press enter instead.

Anyways, here's an actual release, with source code:

What's so hard about pressing the Tab Button twice, lol?
It's like:

Well, the paths can get pretty long, and some people prefer a GUI.

As for the numbers, all I care about, are 777, 755, 644, and 000.
Much easier to remember, than all possible combinations!

That's pretty much the point of this program, so that you don't have to remember the ones that you use.

Why not just use the properties dialog in your file manager?

This will remember your most recent path, you can copy the command, force the changes, and if feedback is checked, then you can get what chmod -v would normally return.

Besides, this sort of a test, and there are more options to come.

Have fun:

https://kuribo64.net/hallofshame/index.php?p=StarLand
http://nsmbhd.net/listthreads/1050-starland/

tl;dr: Starland has very bad grammar, starts a billion projects only to abandon them immediately , and for lack of a better word, is dumb.

If you still aren't convinced, he's gotten the "Most likely to get hit by a parked car " award every year.
2013
2014
2015
(I'm pretty sure he also got "Most likely to start a ton of projects and never finish them" every year, too)

Then how about all those Homebrew Developers, making Apps for Consoles and PC?

Asking for money for hombrew is illegal, iirc.
Posted by Yami
And how about a lot of Web Developers?
Why they don't ask anyone to fund their lost hours then?

I don't know about you, but most websites and content creators I see either have ads or donations.

You can find every user sorted by number here, making the 1000th non-nuked user Lordbeowulf (index 1016).

As for index-wise (including nuked), the thousandth user would technically be alexrocks20151@gmail.com.

I'm to lazy to find the merry Christmas thread, so...

Me and my brother always open each other's gifts on Christmas Eve.
I got him a bucket of sour candy, and a magnetic tray for PC building, and he got me a nice gaming mouse.

The software for the programmable buttons isn't on Linux, but you can do it yourself, and it's perfectly functional otherwise. Plus, it's really comfy :D

As a Linux user, you would be surprised at how much you can get done with wine*. Plus, you can easily make a Windows 7 VM with Virtual box.

You will need to do quite some tinkering to get everything in the OS to run the way you want it to, but overall, I don't regret switching from 10.
*I don't know a lot about mono, but I think you can use mono instead of wine if it's a C# .net program.

Not sure if you're joking or not, but that's pretty much what Linux does. People use Linux as a starting point, and make their own custom distribution based off of that.

I could test crap, I guess. I'm pretty good with HANS, and I'm pretty much tech support for people that can't get HB.

Ninjhax
Ironhax

Amazing tutorial!
It's probably also worth mentioning that you can have custom code, particularly useful for Pokemon Hacks.

When you extract you exefs.bin, you should get a folder called exefsdir. Inside this folder, there is a file called "code.bin". This is the vanilla code file. In order to open it with pk3DS, you need to rename it to ".code.bin".

After you make your changes, rename it to "titleid.code", akin to how you would name the romfs.

Here's some more FAQs:

The romfs path is still invalid.
/3ds/hans is different than /hans.
/3ds/hans contains the executable for hans, and the saved configuration files.
/hans contains your modified .romfs and .code. This is where you want to put your stuff.

Hans immediately goes back the Homebrew Launcher.
It's a code issue, likely it not being found, check the path.
If the path is right, then the code is broken.
In this case, you can:
- Redo the code part of this.
- Only use a custom romfs if the new code doesn't contain anything significant.

I don't see a configuration screen in hans, it goes straight into the game!
You enabled the "Save configuration" in the menu at one point.
You can:
- Hold L while loading hans to go to the menu.
- Delete "titleid.txt" from /3ds/hans/titles to reset the configuration for that game.

I might do a tutorial on making hans shortcuts since there's little to no documentation about that.

Yes, that's true.

Q: I have an old 3DS and when I run Smash Bros/MH4U with HANS my 3DS crashes when entering some places of the game.
A: This is because of RAM limitations. Sorry dude, but you aren't gonna be romhacking with HANS anytime soon for Smash/MH4U if you have an old 3ds :(
