we wanted to make a new Depot, integrated into the board

so Treeki put the code in a repo or something, don't remember details

but for a while I thought we were together in this, like, you know, a team

then it quickly became apparent that I was the only one working on it, and Treeki was basically waiting for me to do it for him

which, uh, doesn't help motivation

and doesn't give a good feel when it was clearly stated that we wanted a decently moderated Depot. with this kind of staff, it would have ended as either a huge pile of submissions pending approval and getting stuck there forever, or the old Depot all over again, depending on whether it'd have required approval.

or we would have tried hiring Depot moderators among the community, and, knowing said community, heading towards a giant dramafest.

long story short, most of the time Treeki didn't want anything to do with the NSMBW scene


during RVLution III, we admins had indirect access to the board codebase -- we had to ask Treeki to pull changes to the live board. as time passed, it was harder and harder to get Treeki to do that.

which eventually veered into non-serious votes, me picking on LifeMushroom, and an argument with Zementblock

Microsoft pushed a patch for the NSA hacks, you can download it from their site and install it standalone

as far as I can see there is no "get Windows 10" bullshit embedded. I should check whether there are anal probes.

It might not be safer, but it's not worth for anybody to code a Linux ransomware. The profit they 'd get is just not there.
