Oh are Cosmic Mario using Mario's animations? Cool. I thought it was a separate file that contains the animations for Cosmic Mario. Meh, now I lost 2 minutes from my life by trying to find it :(.

Well, atleast it wasn't 3 hours...something similar once happened to me while I was modding Spore...except it was 3 hours of wasted time, not 2 minutes.

SMG1 doesn't have WaterArea. It just has WaterCube, WaterSphere and WaterCylinder. In SMG1's ObjectData it's a file called WaterCubeObject, WaterSphereObject and WaterCylinderObject. I don't think they are used in the game. They has just a model that is exactly big as WaterCylinder/Cube/Sphere area. And it uses a BMD file as model!

I think they are used by Nintendo to see how big the WaterCube/Shpere/Cylinder area will look like when they scale it. I used it too. Whitehole also support BMDs!

That's not a discovery. It's just simple file replacing <.<

I copied GhostData____GalaxyLuigi.gst and renamed it to GhostData____Galaxy.gst and Cosmic Mario acted like Cosmic Luigi. This do so we know more about how GST files work. At least a bit.

...You seem to really love this <.< smiley...

Well, indirect replacing >.>
Also this doesn't help with how to find out how GST files work. I copied GhostDataStarDustGalaxy.gst and renamed the copy ...GalaxyLuigi.gst to get it working for Luigi in Space Junk Galaxy. And we still don't know more about it.

But I tested it in public. Now we know at least that it doesn't have with the model to do.

SMG1 uses seperate objects for different geometrical forms of areas. SMG2 has AreaShapeNo.

Also the files are used for those areas.

Damn, you guys are dicks to GalaxyHacker. You know, the guy is just curious; lay off of him. That's how a lot of people start out, no one is a pro in the beginning.

Man, lol, even after three or more years; you're all still bitter as hell.

Oh my god, we're dicks for correcting his misconceptions. Let's all agree to spare his feelings from now on, and never point out his mistakes. That's better for him in the long run, right?

Please stop talking about me now.

Thanks for caring about me Catley but it's okay. I didn't begin or tried to make something cool or something. It was just an experiment. But thanks anyway. It has happened that people has been mean to me when I was a noob and did something simple.

Why did those two comments above got deleted btw?

I'm actually surprised the ghost didn't desync, as Mario & Luigi have different physics.

Like I've said before, physics don't matter since it records the exact position/path the ghost takes.

But it activates different animations. How can this work with zMaril if the animations is meant for Luigi?

It records the actions, not the animations, e.g. Mario is "running", not "run.bck"...atleast, I think that's what it is.

The Melty Molten background (VRSandwichSun) IS used in SMG2. You know the lava in Upside Dizzy Galaxy here:
