⊡ Where can I get a SM64DS ROM? Google is your best friend. ⊡ Why does multiplayer break when I edit levels? Because the ROM's header and binaries are signed with a RSA-1024 signature. The DS firmware will check that signature upon establishing a download play connection, and will just freeze on a Nintendo logo if the signature is wrong. Since SM64DSe modifies the ROM's header and binaries, well, the signature is bound to become wrong. So no multiplayer hacking for now. ⊡ When will the next SM64DSe release come? Whenever it is ready. Hint: asking me about it will not make it come faster. |

Multiplayer hacks might work with multicart, or with FlashMe'd DS's, or with the firmware.nds file that's floating around the net (which is basically FlashMe as a NDS file) |

Hmyeah... having to launch an extra firmware can be cumbersome (regular firmware and flashcart menu are already taking a while to launch). On the other hand, FlashMe requires a hardware modification, so even though it's small I don't feel like trying it. And anyway SM64DS's multiplayer sucks |
