I making a MKDS Course Modifier: What I have so far: *CARC & NARC Support *NKM Editor (Not Completed) *KCL Viewer (Not Completed) *NCGR, NSCR Viewer *NSBTX Viewer & Mini Editor (But it doesn't work good at all, the mkds emblems works) *NSBTP Viewer (Included into the NSBTX Viewer / Mini Editor) *NSBMD Viewer *LZ77 Decompress and Compress *NCLR Editor with PAL import and export *BMG Editor(The bmg's of sm64ds doesn't work at the moment) *BMD Viewer Note: Sometimes I haven't added a filetype to the file type list in the open dialog. So, try some files with all files. Note2: My program can also view the compressed kcl files of sm64ds, the ncl.bin and the ncg.bin. I will give credits to the creators of: *ChadSoft's CTools *NSMB Editor *PuyoTools *Tinke *PG4 Map *Romer *NFTR Edit *SM64DS Editor Because I used some code from them (with some little changes of me). Download: http://florian.nouwt.com/mkds.zip Look at my site for more info: http://florian.nouwt.com/ds.php |

When you create a kcl and bmd the exported files aren't lz77 compressed. |

It looks great but unfortunately the kcls don't work in Mario Kart DS. But when I try with the kcl of Oumisoumi testmap then it works. |

No, the files in MKDS aren't compressed. But what I mean is: When I take the kcl of Tox Box Test Map and decompress and insert in MKDS. It works. When I create a kcl with your program and insert in MKDS (they arent compressed) it doesn't work. |

I have a question: Will someone look for differents between SM64DS kcl files (coulission) and MKDS? When I make a kcl with SM64DS Editor, the kcl works in SM64DS but not in MKDS. So there have to be some differents. By the way, the kcl files created with the SM64DS Editor are not compressed. The other kcl files in SM64DS are and when I decompress the kcl file of test_map_b (tox box map) it works in MKDS. (I know the header is 4 bytes shorter). |

If you are bored, you can try to make a collision importer for mkds. Maybe after you did some other things then sm64ds you will be back motivated. Ps. The specifications are almost the same. And you can look in my code (kcl) for some help. |
