Personally, I found them useful for organising, you guessed, the threads I view most and easily access them without having to dig through the forums to find them and check for replies. I saw the eclipse as well, during school break. One of my classmates brought about five or six light filters, so we could actually watch it. Though it wasn't really all that interesting to be honest and IIRC the next full eclipse will be 2080 or 81.

Eh? I was referring to the next full solar eclipse visible from Germany.

As for the picture, I guess the words are pretty self-explanatory anyway. For anyone who doesn't know anyway:

Looks nice though. Funnily enough, our teachers warned us not to look at the solar eclipse with the naked eye - it wasn't visible that way anyway. And I suppose it's common sense not to stare at the sun. Unless, of course, you need to PRAISE THE SUN.
