How do you texture without the models looking really boring. I believe it has something to do with shader, bur how is it done +

Hello everyone
Every time I view my imported model in the game and in white hole it seems to be a bit dark in color compared to the original mario planet models :) Is there a way to fix this :)

Good looking galaxies you have made yourself! :D
I would recommend experimenting try opening the camera data for "levels" that has a rond planet where you can walk around it and the same time the camera rotates. Try experimenting with the x,y,z values or just copy the whole thing!

AND THIS IS IMPORTANT!
If you make changes to the camera data and save the changes you won't be able to open your level in whitehole. I do not know why, but whitehole does not seem to support the format that anarchy saves it in.

How do you make the models look with at least a little bit of nintendo quality. I think the the smg 2.5 levels look good, but wat is required? Any body care explaining to me :P?

The progress is kind of good. The level looks good, but it needs a bit of shading and lighting which i do not have any experience of yet :D i will be posting some pics very soon!

But how do you export the textures with the model in blender. Mine never worked when i later wanted to convert the obj to bdl. THE CMD just opens and closes fast. Therefor I was kinda stuck with Sketchup, and my models do not look that good with sketchup./

Did you model in sketchup ? I think it is a nice looking level, but perhaps you should have decorated it with custom stones, stone houses perhaps :P, and made the ground a bit uneven, to remove the big repetion :D.

Can someone explain to me how I can shade my models in sketchup? The models always look plain and boring, but how do I shade and export so that obj2bdl can understand? If I most shade in blender does anyone care to explain to me how? Youtube doesn't help that much :)
