Woha. Many things to do :)

Also, uh, implementing some of the sprite images would be a bad idea.
Especially the burners, the amp, the flame chomp and the sledge bro look very odd.

You are free to use all of the first 256 tiles. The following ones are only usable as overlays.

Also overlays are not necessary.

You can get the user id by going to someones profile tho:

The last number is the id.


Oh and you should remove the spoiler tags in your post. They don' make much sense there.

After learning some basics, I found that learning by doing is the best thing you can do.

Whenever I ran into a problem, I looked it up. If you do that for a bit you might become a descent programmer :)

Anyways, the random warp happens because you actually placed a warp there. But if you place awarp, the size is 0x0 pixels by default. Since, yea, my visual representation is increadibly stupid and unfinished the size of the shown sprite is 0x0 as well :P

After a very long time, I worked a bit on CoinKiller:


I added a translation manager which allows you to (who guessed it?) change the language of the editor. Not all text elements support translations yet tho.

Also you can now drag arround the current view with the middle mousebutton.

Lastly I added a button which updates your sprite data.

It'd be nice if you could provide me the level file, since a sprites not appearing bug was reported multiple times.

And have you tried re-saving your level with a new build? I fixed a bug regarding sprites not appearing with this commit: https://github.com/StapleButter/CoinKiller/commit/b38c7172b2d8136459a25872524559c82e77dfbf

You'd have to extract the sarc firstly (I dunno if there is a working sarc (un-)packer).

Then rename all files in the unpacked sarc and then repack it.

Lastly reimport the Texture since it also has an internal name.

Paths can already be edited.

And that "stupid yellow path" is a progress path. It defines where Mario's position is on the bottom-screen map.

There is no need to add anything explos. I already added all images, but didn't commit it yet. Also your downoad contains NW4C :P
In the future please do pull requests.

(And there is no need to have a seperate fork that concentrates on sprite images. That doesn't make any sense)

And most sprite images on your imgur still have backgrounds, Hiccup.

Could it be that only the overlays are animated in this case?

Try adding the ?-Block overlay to a random tile.
