You mean a pun of Wunderbar? It didn't offended me.

If Megaleg would exist in SMG2 I would use him in a galaxy.

Yes that's what the pun was. And Blarg. Lolwut I spelled it wrong. Megaleg does indeed not exist in SMG2 but I have a plan...(insert epic mindblowing DUN DUN DUUUUN cliffhanger here)

What's the plan?

You'll see once I try it. But I'll give you a hint: No ASM needed!

Öhm, okay.

My plan failed. It was to import all the planets that compose Megaleg and make a bullet bill puzzle thingy. The game crashed. So...nevermind about that.

It is, I specifically point it out in my tutorial to not use double sided faces.

I was sure it was. Eh, guess I can't exactly blame someone for making a mistake.

I've got my email ready. :P
To Nintendo
From TheSpeedyMouse
Subject: Objects like Mattermouths from Galaxy 2
Message: Dear Nintendo,
Can you tell us on Kuribo64 how planets are effected by certain objects in Galaxy 1 and 2, and which planets aren't and why they aren't affected. It would really help with hacking your game.
Sincerely,
TheSpeedyMouse

This will totally work! :P

Please send that. But replacing hacking with "making custom game content for" :P

Good call.

While you're at it, do you think you could ask about what's required for a player model?

Yes, we will. BTW I just meant MissingNo. not the whole scene.
Will

Actually, why don't you just say, " Can you give us the level editor you used to make Super Mario Galaxy 2? Because ours doesn't work too well."

BRILLIANT!! SpeedyMouse, do this.

The blue-ness...I have an idea. somebody assemble a bunch of planets that normally are nommed on by mattermouths and a bunch that are normally illuminated by bulb yoshi. and put yoshi eggs, mattermouths, and bulb berries on all of them. Then we'll know whether or not it's the same issue. If it is, we can kill two birds with one bouldergeist attack. If not...well we still learned something. BTW if there are any planets normally exposed to both, include those as well.

Yeah. I just checked it...FAILED.

I figured I should mention that the error was an error. The files came out fine. I realized that it wasn't a typo. It was overwriting the text "Dump Successfully Mounted" with "Dump Successful!" That was very confusing. I suppose I should have said something at the time though. I didn't think to. Sorry.

SMGExtractor is a simple program that runs on your Wii, and dumps files from your SMG1 or SMG2 disc. You can choose to dump all the disc's files, or just the minimum required to hack SMG levels.

Great program! Just a little confusing with the text. Could you modify it to print the Success message on a new line? That would probably prevent much confusion in the future. Really cool that it even works for Mario Kart Wii! Another great modification would be if it dumped the DOL and Apploader. Okay, now I'm pushing it with the suggestions, aren't I?

Okay thanks, it works now :)

Sorry for asking so many questions, but this process takes some time.
And if I only want to test little things it would be faster to use Dolphin.
Dolphin cannot use Riivolution like my Wii, so I need an ISO file with the new files in it.
But Wii Scrubber and Dolphins Data File System dont support adding files...
Is there a way to do that?

Dolphin is not a reliable way to test stuff. Lots of things work on Dolphin but not Wii. Use your wii if you can. if you absolutely must use Dolphin, use this: https://kuribo64.net/?page=thread&id=681 or this: https://kuribo64.net/?page=thread&id=1380

YAY!!!! Is all the stuff tested? Are the SMG1 imports functional (like the Buoy Base Hex Floaters - do they sink?)?

Hmm, okay, but I also need it if I want to make screenshots or if I want to record something and I dont have a Capture Card...
So thanks :D

Do you have a Camcorder with AV in? if so, see this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIq309RpoIE

I agree with MrRean about the object resizing. Personally, I like the way you used both sizes of Thwomps. BTW, if you want to retexture that sand planet to look like slime, try this: https://kuribo64.net/?page=thread&id=1423

It would be nice if you could be a little more specific as to how it doesn't work, but....if you're using the exporter with vertex colors, "include normals" "include vertex colors" "write materials" "triangulate faces" and that should be good, if you're using the normal one then vertex colors won't be there, and that'll be fine. however, it is necessary to note that blender is really shitty with models because scaling correctly to meters makes it way too big to see so I'd use sketchup. The materials are there so you can assign different flags, if you're using it for collision you don't need the UV mapped textures exported.

That blender rendering problem can be solved. see this: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?131285-Viewport-Draw-Distance. Was I helpful at all this time?

Guys I'm really unsure on how to use ocarina/gecko codes with riivolution. I've already got the codemanager and ocarina, but I dont know how I get codes. Please help!

Here are some instructions according to what I've done:
1. Open the code manager.
2. Enter in a GameID and Game Name, then click Store Name/ID
3. Add codes by copypasting them from here: http://geckocodes.org/
4. Click File, then Export to GCT
5. Select the Drive your SD card is in from the drop-down menu, then click Store (NOT Store to File). If you want to save multiple 6. code combinations for games, click file, then Save as TXT file
7. choose a location, enter in a name, and click save
8. Then use this http://rvlution.net/riiv/Ocarina_Codes XML to use the codes through riivolution.

I hope this helps.

Step 8 isn't needed for him. He already said he has Ocarina.

Or you can use GeckoOS without having to use riivolution, but that's not what he wants.

._____. Rean, He said he has the Ocarina Code Manager. He never said anything about the Riivolution Handler.
