So remember that one level from Mario2's world s with the bosses from previous levels strung together? This could be the 2.5 version of it. Called Bossy Boss galaxy, the final boss of it could be Cloneo, a character that looks like a giant cosmic clone. It would hurt you by sending cosmic clones after you and hitting you with its hand. Also, as I despised the mini-planets featured for many bosses, this would be more like the Bowser Jr. hammer setup with a multilevel square platform, wall jumping from level to level. In order to hurt Cloneo, you'd have to collect 12 blue coins(of which there are 12 which regenerate each time twelve are collected) in order to receive a 30 second power-up in which you look like a white cosmic clone. By running through all 12 cosmic clones, Cloneo will become angry. The coins will disappear, and a yoshi egg will appear. Cloneo will start throwing bullets, and yoshi will spit them at Cloneo.Cloneo will become furious and destroy all but the bottom level. Seventeen exclamation spots will appear, and when you collect them all,Cloneo and his minions will explode, leaving you with a star.

How about something like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG_Us2oLZsY

(I made it. Sorry about the quality. When my computer recorded it it decided to be glitchy and cause buzzing sounds below the regular music. I'd be happy if anyone has better ideas on how to record the music)

Its still in basic development. :)

When i try and download whitehole, it asks me what program i want to run it with. I got Jre7, but it comes up as a folder marked java. What should I tell it to run with?

Perhaps an easier way to do the free demo? Like some way that simply requires the demo download and an sd card, nothing else. Or maybe a version of whitehole for the wii.

Oh. Are you saying i need 7zip or winrar? Cause thats probably my problem. Also, I saw something about extracting Iso's? How are you supposed to do that?

I've always wanted to go up to someone and shove candy star bits in their face and then eat the powerup cupcake they give me. :)

So, I just had the sudden urge to extend every level in smg2 so I have something to do while I wait for smg2.5. I figured that those of you without the ability to do all the stuff needed for smg2.5 right now could help as well, since all we need to do is extend the levels. Please do not attempt to help if your time could be better spent helping smg2.5. Here are some basic transition rules if you would like to help:

. Only elongate a level if you have asked and been granted permission to do so

. All aspects of the original level should stay the same except for launch stars and launch star bits replacing stars and silver stars as well as some added difficulty. The comet medal's location may change as well.

. Make sure the extra section of the level is suitable to the level's style.

. Don't just add one more planet. I want the levels to feel as though two have been squished into one.

. Original ideas are great, especially for comet stars. For example, I will be working Beat Block galaxy (as soon as i can get whitehole to cooperate with me) and the galaxy will be renamed Step to the Beep-Swap.

. You may change the concept of the comet star. For example, if it is timed, yours does not have to be.

If you finish a galaxy, please take a video of you playing it so we can see it all. Please collect the comet medal while playing as well.

Galaxies I will edit:

Sky Station- Original Star renamed Pewee Piranha and the Gobbleguts (I'll have to see if this will work, idea is for the final section to feature attacks from Gobblegut and Pewee Piranha simultaneously.)

Beat Block- Original star renamed Step to the Beep-Swap (Features aspects from flip-swap in conjunction with Beat Block)

Masterpiece- Original star renamed Masterpiece Theme Park (Features a silver star in the original roll thing as well as four more tracks)

More to come. :)

I know. :) I just want to get this set up early so I don't have to worry about it later. :)

I just thought that some areas that need to be worked on not everyone can do. Well, I'm not expecting to get much help, but it doesn't hurt to be hopeful.

Thanks for the pep talk. :) I really need to get the darn thing downloaded first, though. It would really help if someone posted a video of that.

I have two questions:

1. Is it possible to have two bosses attack you simultaneously?

2. Can silver stars be placed inside those rolly balls used for rolling masterpiece galaxy?

Didn't really know a better place to put this.

Maulio: Where is it?

Is it duplication? Or will I be able to use two different bosses?

I was trying to get letterbomb to work so I could get an ISO, but when it gets to the yes/no thing it does something weird.

This is what the problem area looks like assuming you say yes to everything:

I'm running under IOS34 14.24

You have Wii system menu version 513 (v32 USA) installed

The homebrew channel has only been tested with 354(v22) and below

Starting installation.....
Fixing up signature......
Installing ticket....

Error -1030002011 installation ticket

Installation Failed!

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think its probably the H.B.C. package thing. But, just in case, how do I make sure the ioses are clean? I thought accessing them was what Homebrew was for. Oh, and if the package is outdated, where can I find a current one?

Well, it seems as if this is going to pretty much be a solo project. The good news is I am very determined and have plenty of time, so it will get done(and I'll learn how to use whitehole in the process). If you have any suggestions of things you wish were in certain galaxies that weren't, please bring them to my attention.

Below is some progress i have made on the designs. They may be hard to follow if you do not have the level up beside you, as they deal with some minor changes that therefore require no background info.

Progress:

Sky Station: Star 1(Gobblegut's Pirahna Army): Beginning luma dialogue changed to" Welcome back Mario!(A) Something strange has happened. I sense the presence of a Power Star. But that can't be...(A) You did collect it, right?" Hard headed guys replace flat head goombas. Orange pipe leads to life, not up. Yoshi sign reads "Hiya, pal! The main entrance is going through repairs. Try the back." Starbits and starbits only come out of flowers. Through the green tube is the back. All goombas again replaced by hard head guys. No green tip screen. All crystal formations empty. Starbits line gravity hole as opposed to coins. Launch star luma says " Mario? You're back?(A) Well, if you need a ride..." before transforming. Other top of house luma says " Does that planet in the distance look different to you?" pointing to what used to be pewee pirahnas place. LS luma does not tell you how to shake.

Luma afterward is standing still, and does not move. When talked to, luma says " Do you sense the power star too? (A) Its kinda a creepy feeling, if you ask me..." Blue octos replaced by green octos. Yellow lifting tiles removed. Question coin awards 12 coins. Special place has spike guys and fire powerup. Path to launch has blue star pullers and ls bits are floating in the air. No extra question coin. All 3 mini planets bare. No save flag. All flying goombas replaced by 3 pink octoombas each. Octoomba replaced by hard head. LS luma says " I can feel the power star is close. Not as close as it should be though..." no save flag or one up or life. LS luma says "Strange, there's no pirahna egg..." Land on planet just like pewee's without egg. At top is a save flag. Various ls chips scattered about along with a surplus of red spikies.

LS appears at bottom. Water environment from the luma star on cosmic cove is reached as you land atop a egg. This becomes the traditional pewee fight with the cosmic cove chase environment. When done, launch star appears and you can go to next planet. Next planet is the rock boss from boss blitz's environment. Luma offers life or one up for 60 star bits. Many red spikies (animal) are there with invincible powerup in center. By defeating all enemies, a launch star appears. You are sent to the base for the mole from boss blitz. Lumas around the tree wish you good luck. Pull stars are at bottom along with a save flag, and you pull yourself through poky asteroids to a small planet. Here, you land on a red egg. Flare pewee appears, (final from boss blitz) and fire gobblegut comes to boot. When second boss on that planet is defeated, a star appears. COMET MEDAL LOCATION WILL BE DIFFERENT, BUT IS CURRENTLY UNDETERMINED.

Star 2(Silver star mini-games): Same for top beginning without green balloon things. After exiting green pipe, luma is there trapped. It says, "Is this what they call de ja vu? I think there's a key around here somewhere..." Key is acquired the same way. Luma says " Thank you! I think I saw a launch star somewhere around here..." A orange tube will be on this side. You must collect the key by kicking a turtle shell on the mid center chest. A trap above the top of the small hill will disappear and you can once again go through the black gravity changer. a launch star will be on the chimney, saying "Lets go!"

Inside of glass place is the same with no save flag. Special place has snow and fire pellet guys. No save mark for question tile location. Everything else there is the same. launch star is held where star was. Climbing pole and jumping leads to life. LS leads to a small square of land with a tube. Tube leads to large enclosed area with Gearmo. Gearmo gives you thirty seconds to touch 17 question tiles with cosmic clones chasing you. When you win, he says all he can give you is a silver star and some coins. A green pipe appears. when you go through it, you come across a small patch of square land. a luma is there. The luma asks for the amount of coins Gearmo gave you plus about 25. If you pay it, it transforms into a planet to which you can launch star. 20 cloud guys shoot at you and cosmic clones chase you while you collect four silver stars on this planet. When you finish, you get a star.

Star 3(Gobblegut speed run): Same as Star 1 except as a speed run with clocks placed around the set.

Beat Block: Star 1(Step to the beep-swap): No crystal structure, reshaped beat block areas. 4 of each enemy type on square blocks as compared to just one. Comet medal located on extension of original location. Unnecessary beat blocks removed. Luma at second rest platform, says "That ticking kinda gets to your head. (a) Hey, have you been here before? I don't sense any star nearby..." No save or question block. 5 star chips replace silver stars, takes you to seemingly same location with key diferences. Pyramid tower is gone, you must go on the comet pathway. Some beat blocks are replaced with flip swaps. Luma at end of comet pathway says "I sense a power star. Will you get it for us? (a) Thanks! I'll transform into a launch star."

New area is megahammer boss (Save flag at beginning) with 4 calm areas, 2 with yoshi eggs, 2 with mini ls. Areas inbetween are beat block/ flip swap outer structure in double time. By defeating boss, ls appears. Next platform is wooden, saws cutting while many red spikies follow you around. At end of wooden platform is ball with star inside. Go down beep-swap road with many beat blocks, land in area where ball is opened and you can collect the star.

Star 2(Beep-Swap double time): Same level until you reach end. star chips replace silver stars. Taken to place with ball with coin inside it. Silver stars collected around straight road made up of beat blocks(hard to describe). At end, ball opens and you can go through ls. Final silver star is found at bottom of circle planet and star is put at top.

Rolling Masterpiece: Star 1(Masterpiece theme park): Post not finished yet
