would you mind making a list of what you can do, and what you need help for?
asking for "assistants" before naming all specific tasks needed/already covered and before giving details of your project's state won't bring in many people.

by project state I mean the progress in the diverse areas planned (levels, models, music, ASM, etc).

I agree you should remove the project deadline, as it means more pressure for people joining if you rush the completion. one year is rarely enough even for the most simple ROMhacks.

Btw i recommend you to use blender instead because it has many useful features sketchup doesn't have. With blender you can do shading with vertex colors for example.

that, and Sketchup follows bad practices from what I hear- aka it's not made with actual game design in mind.

Jamie's gone again. his parents smashed both his phones right in front of him when they got wind of him coming back to the Acmlm community. apparently they lumped us with the people who caused him trouble and approached him with not-so-great intentions (you know who I'm talking about).

which's a shame, considering the "community" that caused him trouble was the one he handpicked himself out of the rejected people, not us here (and on Kafuka) in general. he hadn't rejoined Discord where his "community" is.

I don't quite remember when, but there was at least once it didn't.

right now it works, but that one time I mashed the quote link expecting to be redirected to reply page like it was a while ago (I forget) and spent a minute figuring out I was spamming the quick reply box with quotes.

is there capitalism yet on Pluto? if not, we don't necessarily need to erase users from there.

I think gridatttack may turn out eager to do that considering they seem to like the shop, but it's still a tedious task. I can't just go and speak for them.

I'm jealous. heh :bun:

nice going! facial hair is a pain to constantly shave off. don't even get me started on the bunch that grow below your chin and onto your adam's apple. it's hell.
whatever use body hair had, if you're to spend half of your life shaving it you might as well get rid of it quickly. you hardly ever regret it.

when you can't figure out what the emoji is until you zoom at like 3000%

Swingball tends to make me glue my face to the screen trying to decipher whatever his tiny emoji are.

I'm guessing his screen is cinema-sized.

that was.. by far the most unusual judo, uh, 'session'.

so, it started raining a bit before I went out. and by "raining", I mean raining HARD. the kind of amount you usually see only in storms.
I didn't think so much of it, however. and went on my way through the rain without an umbrella. I underestimated it way too much, considering I went all the way there in jeans and sweater. the absolute least water-repellent.

I was wet everywhere once I got there, and had only one change of clothes in my bag (judogi). I put away my wet clothes, tried flushing the water off them, and put them away to dry.
I didn't take long to change into a less hellish getup, but it was pouring just as hard outside in the meantime and starting to get inside.

did I mention the room was underground?
I'll map the entrance for you to picture it: there's stairs going downwards, then one step upwards and the door is right there. in other words, the perfect place for water to pile up. there's also a clogged drain, which didn't help.

as more and more people arrived, water filled the overflowing step-high hole and started to spread in the room. to get in you had to jump over the waterbed, which eventually became unecessary as the room itself was flooded.
people at the door grabbed buckets and drained the water from there into the yard, while people inside pushed the spreading water back towards the door. I helped out with that as much as I could, so at least I did "sports" like I intended. water curling of sorts.
meanwhile, my clothes hanging to dry released a ridiculous amount of water. anyway, considering the flood judo was off the table, or anything else for that matter.

through our efforts, we managed to repel as much water as necessary and the drain unclogged a little bit.
we heard word the rain would pick up again so a few peeps stayed to keep watch. we went home in the spare dry clothes we had, or at least dry enough to make do.

oddly enough, it was kinda fun. except for the outside part, which was more about making sponges out of our clothes.

I'm copypasting this across Kafuka and Kuribo, if you don't mind.

if you can't keep your desktop clean that means you kinda sorta suck at sorting stuff with folders.

well, that's my opinion anyway. I have a large-ass tree of folders I'm very used to. meanwhile my desktop is a few handy links.
