Wow! These tilesets look amazing! Are you considering making a custom power-up or asm hacking of any kind?

Not for this project, I don't have the time for this (because of school) nor enough knowledge for that.
But I will try it for NSMBU because I already have some concepts for completely new Power Ups :)

Will be keeping an eye on this project. Good to see interest in NSMBWii.

One thing though. How are you going to be able to collect both Star Coins and Lumas? If you know how to make multiple kinds of models work for Star Coins, I'd like to know how you did it.

That's technically possible, Newer also did it with the models.
But for this purpose I'm using a much more easier solution.
I'm using two different objects for solving this "problem",
because I don't have much time for working on that kind
modification.

This hack looks great! I will definitely take a look at it when it releases!

Thanks! :)

Awesome mod ! Looking forward for playing it.

Thanks, I hope you will like it! ;)

What do you understand by new? Currently they're only ONE new tileset: Sweet land (or something that). Rest is remakes and recolors. Also, the other hand, lumas are great, 'cause Star Coins come directly from SMG2, where they were Comet Medals. Bravo.

Technically, you're right! Hahah, but well, recolors are also kind if "new" hahah.
That Star Coin thing... yeah, I thought about changing that whole Star Coins
with something "new" and fresh? Hahah :D

But they were created until idea of NSMBW2.

You are right e.g. the bushes in the Newer Mountains are in the same style as in
NSMB 2 for the 3DS
Posted by nekholm
Maybe new as in not in the original NSMBWii?

Good luck on the project, try to stay motivated.

Thanks! Though I don't have any motivation now because school is killing me 0.o, and it's more
important than this project, but I try to do my best.
And ok I accept that I made a fault with
"New Tilesets", I will change that!

And also that copyright thing hahahah :D

Sorry for that late answers,
but I have much work to do for school,
in German we call that "Abitur" hahahha :D

Also, the logo also is well done. But I think that more glossy gradients may be better on Mario letters. And about copyrights, I don't think it's possible to make a future one (2018...).

Thanks for your feedback! I will change that Copyright Thing hahah
And the Logo:
I currently have a new logo in mind.
It's inspiried by the Naruto Ninja Storm 4 Logo...
only in Mario Style and a bit different hahaha :D

According to your post, Gamer Boy, the files are decompressed version of Newer files, so ...
How the thricely blargy blarg to compress them after editing?!

There is also the possibility to .LZ compress them, if you
really insist to compress your Level Files.
The Newer Engine is also able to "read" LZ compressed files.
I think this was also originally a deactivated feature of the retail game
and they activated LZ and LH "reading" for Newer.
If I'm right, there could also be support for .szs and some other
compressions.

I don't think that it's a problem to simply change the texture of the Power Star.

Simply changing the textures of a Power Star to green isn't going to make their behaviors change to how a Green Star would act (meaning they won't have an effect like making a Green Luma appear.) Also, you haven't found much information on SMG1 because very few people hack it.

He or she only wanted to change the texture of the Power Star ._.
And it is the easiest option to simply change the texture of
the Power Star

Nice level preview! I have some criticism, here we go :P

~I feel like the luma models are a bit... small... sometimes invisible even, unless you know they were there. But, as you said in the description:
...so I won't worry about that one for now :P good luck on the final model!

+Level design is mostly consistent
+Tile sets look fantastic!

-I feel like when you exit from the underwater section, the pipe takes you too far back.
-There's some odd tiling at the top of the underwater section...
-The invisible blocks by the Luigi bush are a bit out of place
-The invisible block with the vine in it is also out of place
-When you exit from the cloud section, you got hit by the Koopa and that seems mostly unavoidable, especially if someone's playing it for the first time

Anyway, that's just me. Don't get me wrong, I really liked the level, but the negative parts distracted me from the positive. Of course, this is all just my opinion so good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Thanks for your critics!
I already reedited the Level! Haha
I'm going to publish the Video for the edited Version
maybe this night, but first I want to
finish the HUD Edits/Layout Edits
before I upload the next Video.
But you are completly right, there are bad things
about the level but I tried to solve these problems :3

Again new footage:
Changed the HUD a bit, altough there are
some issues with the animation when collecting
100 coins or collecting a star coin.
But gonna fix that of course, have fun!

Still enjoyable I think

Hahaha I have enough time

xd

We found a way to use the Hint Movie Block :D
I think we can create now our own „Hint Movies“
