If we were talking about Mario 64 here, I'd agree. Though I defend that game to the death, I can't deny how terribly the graphics have aged (it really should get a HD makeover).

I mean, there's Super Mario 64 DS, which even though it uses the terrible DS screen resolution (256 × 192), it has quite a bit of ingame graphical detail.

I just saw a new YouTube feature which is, uhhhh this:



You can now click that thing on the top of the video and create a pop-up which moves around, you can even drag it outside the desktop! Good luck getting it back on-screen. You can resize it too. The video controls are the same for both the video and the pop-up (one controls the other) and it also has a different theme. Not sure which browsers are compatible (I don't even know if most people even see this feature), but it probably works with Blink-based ones.

Not sure how to feel about this one. It's kinda wonky, but actually it would be quite useful too.

Theorically, you can't. Once you close the original tab, the pop-up goes away with it too, but I guess if the website generated a very small video it would be bad. Maybe it's browser dependant? Or maybe only YouTube is allowed currently? You know what, I'm not even sure how it works exactly. I can't even right-click it to see what the hell it is.

But it actually does work. It also has a drop shadow behind it, if you count that as a border.

Actually, it does. I can't make it smaller than it appears in that picture. Doesn't prevent me from resizing it to fill the entire screen. Oh it will.

In Windows XP, changing the program that opened folders from the default one to whatever else, then reverting back to Windows Explorer. Sounds good in theory, but not in practice. Everytime you opened a folder, a new window of Explorer appeared, regardless of the settings.

Installing a Windows 2000 driver in Windows XP. "They aren't that different!" I thought.

animations in layouts are generally not a good idea, it's distracting

Just out of curiosity, is the animation on the background of my post too distracting?

In other news, I just ported two of my layouts from other places™ to the Kuribo64 code, but I don't know if I'm going to use them here or not. Here is an image containing both. The second layout would probably include an avatar change too, because reasons. Any thoughts?

Y'know, normally is it warm and sunny here, but tomorrow starts winter.

Also note that it has been abnormally cold over here. Last week had a minimum of 3ºC, we actually got to see a bit of ice on a few patches of grass. It's less cold now, but still. I also learned that I do indeed have allergies, and IT SUCKS.

It's not the best, but it certainly gets most of the job done.

Hey, same processor and same GFX card here. Nice.

Except I'm only using 2GB of RAM. It was 4GB but my motherboard is breaking (random bus/interconnection errors, mostly 0x124) so I had to remove one of the RAM sticks (doesn't matter which one, or which slot) to reduce the amounts of computer freezes I get.

At least I'm actually using the external graphics card now.

Remove all of this in your layout:
And then you're good to go.

Another good idea is to use less generic class names, .innertext and .glow are likely to create conflicts with other CSS.

In no particular order:

1 - YouTube, desktop design

It works, but man is it a unnecessarily heavy website. In fact, most of Google's stuff seems to be breaking as of late. I don't normally read Google+ conversations, but when I decide to, it's very broken. Like, the buttons do nothing type of broken.

2 - Vizzed

From bad color contrast choices to bad effects to overall bad forum design.

EDIT: Item 2 edited out, them edited back in again. Ooops.

3 - Any damn mobile website that uses too much JavaScript

Mobile phones don't have infinite RAM like computers are supposed to. I'll just keep using Opera Mini's extreme mode, at least that doesn't crash it from using too many resources (yes, it can happen with these terrible pages). Likewise, pages that spam hover effects above the entire page. If you really need something that, 1. use failure; 2. let me close the damn thing.

I tested your theme and it looks fine for me. I know there's a setting for something like this in a different version of Acmlmboard, but I guess not this one..

I think there probably is an option for this Acmlmboard version too, but it wasn't actually implemented onto the Edit Profile page. Maybe you accidentally changed it some other way.
