I'm sorry, but NWP told me that they doesn't work. I really wish that somebody could make an ASM hack to fix that Area... if that's ever going to happen. PLEASE DO!!

I have 2 backgrounds in a level. When I activate the switch that controls them, the second one appears but the first one doesn't disappear. Do I need two separate switches or something?

You need to give the first background a SW_B switch.

More specific, please. Do I need to set the SW_B of the switch, or of the background?

If you read my post you would know it :P

As in, do the SW_B of the switch and the background need to be the same? Or is one SW_B and the other SW_DEAD?

I think the Area should be SW_A and the background be SW_B.

Exactly what I said .-.
The background needs a SW_B.

Do bosses needs any music setup or does the music come automatically when the boss appear?

Yeah, they load automatically. Music is defined in ActorInfo, but this only works for SMG2 bosses

Squizzard is an exception, right?

Yes, Squizzard doesn't work with it for some reason.

Anyone else think this suggests that Squizzard was implemented earlier (or, less likely, later) in SMG2's development than the other bosses?

If I understand right, the bosses doesn't need any music/audio setup?

Well, I know that Giga Lakitu was created on the 17th March 2010: https://kuribo64.net/?page=wiki&id=Unused_Source_%26_Backup_Files

But we're getting off-topic...

@GalaxyHacker: Exactly.

No you don't, you just know that his final Model was built on that date, and who knows how many previous revisions there could've been to the model, boss fight gameplay, etc.?

I heard that the game reads all files. If so, would it work to use PNG files to objects instead of BTIs?

That actually isn't true. I tried it out...

My question is WHY you would try it out. It doesn't 'read' everything, it just loads what the machine tells it to. If it can't find shit, it just bazooka and crashes.

No I didn't talk about PNG files. I talk about the TXT files found in various archives such as BossJugem.arc.
