How big in terms of units should a mini-galaxy model be? (The one that occurs on the world map)

Depends on the original model. Export the original model using BMDView2 and import it into sketchup with yards, the model should be just as big as that is when exporting.

A note to everyone: Also scale the model by 2.54 before exporting it from SketchUp in meters.

Nope, nobody has cared enough ot figure it out. Otherwise I would have already extracted and been the first person to upload the remixed ice flower and red star music to youtube.

Yes, it doesn't work on SMG2 AFAIK, otherwise I would have used it by now. Whenever I feel the need to, I would just adapt that to work.

Does anyone know how to convert an .obj to a BDL with vertex colors? I tried, but I got a shadeless model. Is there something I have to select when exporting as obj or do I have to use obj2bdl v0.4?

you need to export the extended .obj and use the last obj2bdl. but you won't see the model in whitehole

Yes, you need 0.4 (the latest version)

Your best place to find the format would be looking at the corresponding section (MAT3) of the model importer to see what the variables/lengths are, and then copying them from the old model to the new one. That's basically what my script would do, but it'd be able to list them and edit it automatically. Good luck with that one though, you'll need it :P

We would need some context. What are you trying to do, are you trying to open it, load the game's files, open a galaxy, what? Also it would be nice to have a full copypasta of whiteholecrash.txt in a spoiler/on pastebin.

figured out the problem, but now wiiscrubber failed on me. do I have to extract each file INDIVISUALLY?
I mean, I know there's a way to do it all at once...
