When i save my (very simple) level model.
Sometimes some faces disappear for a second.
My model is a plane subdivided about 8 times with a bit of height variation and a very simple texture used in another nintendo game, i also didn't triangulate my model.

Is there anyway to fix this? because i would be surprised if it is because of the amount of tri's

Oh no, that can't be the case, it's an 8x8 grid so it should be 64 vertices. (i was talking about the blender 3d subdivide function)
I was just testing if i was able to import a model, so it would be very dumb to import a model with that many triangles

Luckily there's a "triagulate" modifier in blender, so if it only happens with blender it might just be easier to just use that.

I encountered another problem while trying to import my .obj
I only got this today and i'm thinking it's because i upgraded my blender, i saw that the .obj exporter got alot more detailed, so i didn't press any buttons

The error:

The exporter settings:

bold=checked by default

-Selection only
-Animation
--Apply Modifiers
--Include Edges
-Smooth Groups
-Bitflag Smooth Groups
--Write Normals
--Include UVs
--Write Materials
-Triangulate Faces
--Write Nurbs
-Polygroups
--Objects as OBJ Objects
-Objects as OBJ Groups
-Material Groups
-Keep Vertex Order

EDIT: I got my model imported through .DAE, but i've encountered yet another problem.
I have one texture that has collision, the other one has too, but it's only from the bottom so you fall straight through!

EDIT 2: I think i fixed it, it flipped the normals.

I read the solution to the import problem, but i'm not intirely sure about what you meant with it.
Do the texures and the model need to be in the same folder?

After seacrching for about two days, i finally found out that you can change the path to "relative" in the obj exporter of blender.

yes, you just delete the warp that brings you to the "big playroom"
then you'll be able to go through the door without triggering a warp.

when i try to run my hack on my R4, the screen just becomes white when i load the game.
But when i play it on an emulator, it's just fine.
Is there any way i can fix this?

Some extra information:
-I replaced a player model, a level model and i deleted some objects in that level
-I am using the "U" version of the rom (universal version?)
-I am using a European DS, so it's a PAL console i guess
-Usually when my R4 loads a rom, it has 2 loading bars: one loads fast (about 1 seconds), and the second one takes a bit longer (about 10 seconds).
but when i load this game the screen turns white immediatly after the first bar has finished loading

note that i have the original, unedited rom on my R4, and it is fully working.

i'm using no$gba and i have AR codes on my R4 but there aren't any available/enabled on sm64.
I'll try the asm patch thingy

i understand that you like doing this, but what is the target audience?
I can't think of any group of people who would want to play this.
The main reason is that it doesn't feel "fresh", there's nothing in this hack that people would want to see, because it's all so similar to the finished game

If your l make sure all faces are facing the right way. you know when they don't if their colour looks a bit darker/lighter compared to the others:
-in blender you can do this by going to "mesh"->"normals"->"recalculate outside" in the 3d viewport.
-For sketchup, you need to right click the face and select "reverse faces"

the reason this happens is because faces only have collision from the top in-game
