There'll be another character next time, but for now, more color! :D

EDIT:

Thanks for the reminder! :)

I've uploaded the original tutorial page in screenshot format, consisting of three screenshots (it's quite a long page), which you can download here. The original post may contain a shortened version with re-uploaded screenshots, but until then, I hope you enjoy seeing the tutorial in its original form.

I remember playing Sonic Heroes and Motor Racer on a very old computer we used to have. Heroes is a bit more finicky in terms of controls/polish then I remembered it after playing it again recently, but I've had a blast with it then and now, with the final boss sticking out in particular when I first played it. My best memory from Motor Racers is racing with mini dirt bikes on the Great Wall of China. Miniclip games were also fun. Windows XP also makes me very nostalgic (anyone else remember that desktop background?).

I have a graphite-colored Game Boy Advance SP which still works now, though the R button is a bit worn in. Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dynasty Warriors Advance, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga & LSW: The Original Trilogy, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, etc. are all quite fun. Perhaps I'll try a Pokemon game sometime...

Beating Adventure Mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee and not knowing Giga Bowser was a thing was an awesome experience. Super Mario Sunshine is awesome, but I don't have any compatible controllers, so I can't play it anymore, for now. Mario Kart: Double Dash also brings back memories.

Just a couple years ago, I completed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time using Project 64. I think I played The Wind Waker HD before that, but either way, no Zelda game has hit me like OOT has. I think it's actually my favorite game ever, but then again there's a lot of games out there. :P

I agree with you on television. There's nothing I'm really interested in watching, except for one show. Everything else, including news, can be accessed through the Internet now.

I could keep going on, since I've also played lots of other games then and now, but I think this post is long enough as is.

Any attempt to stop people from browser exploits and the like are probably futile. :P Apparently there's a notice contained in the update for the end of Miiverse, though.

Looks like it needs a little polish, but I'm a novice and it isn't finished yet so... yeah. :P

Looking forward to this though! Always great to see new hacks for NSMBWii. Also, does this mean that Newer Super Luigi Wii is still a thing?

P.P.S another example of my noobness is that I do not know how to shrink this image.

Using the "thumbnail" tag is most convenient, I believe. Put the link address for your image inside the [ imgs ] and [ /imgs ] brackets, respectively (spaces have been added for the example). Doing so looks like this:

[thumbnail]

Also, if you plan on making individual threads for each question you have, I'd suggest making a single, multi-purpose thread for any questions you may have. :)

I have no idea how to make a layout. Someone help me please.

A lot of good looking ones here though!

At first, I was thinking that this was going to look subpar, but it ended up blowing away all expectations! Looking forward to this, and good luck! :)

I like a whole bunch of drinks, but lately I've been trying to drink mostly water, and occasionally coffee, tea, milk, juice, and other stuff like that. I'm trying to avoid pop as much as I can.

Movies recently watched:

War for the Planet of the Apes (8,0/10)
The final movie of the new Planet of the Apes trilogy. A bit of a slow pace and some nonsensical moments, but a decent way to end the story. (There really wasn't any "war" in the film, by the way. :P)

Spider-Man: Homecoming (7,9/10)
Spider-Man's debut movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Very different with the high school setting. Too many references to other MCU movies and Star Wars, and not much in the way of fight scenes, at least for me. Everything else was awesome though. (Is it just me or did the suit look off the entire time though?)

Rogue One (7,9/10)

The first spinoff "Anthology" movie in the Star Wars franchise. I felt the pacing was a bit too slow until the final act, and that it had a bit too much fan-service. Loved the plot and the ending. (CGI humans are also still creepy.)

TV Shows:

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (7,5/10)

The first TV show of the MCU, focusing on some agents in S.H.I.E.L.D. (surprise!). It was subpar starting off, but continues to progressively get better and is excellent now. The plot does get convoluted in Season 4 though. Excellent special effects though occasionally very violent. S5 is airing next year.

Dragon Ball Z

Saving the best for last! The original version of this anime can be very drawn out with filler, but so far I'm loving the story, characters, and action (it can get goofy though). One of my favorite animated shows, or shows in general. Dragon Ball Z Kai, a newer version of the show, cuts the filler and updates the animation and voice acting. The sequel show, Dragon Ball Super, is airing now.

Am I the only one who thinks TV isn't the same anymore?

Nope, you aren't the only one. Besides Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., there isn't any modern TV show that I have interest in right now (plus you can find it online). News can also be found much more easily online, whenever you want to find it. Most shows are constantly either morbid or violent or both. Anything that isn't is generally low-quality for what it is trying to do, especially compared to older shows. Older Spongebob and Looney Tunes episodes, for example, are leagues better than their modern counterparts, in my opinion. Soap operas aren't my thing either. :P There's really no reason to watch TV.

Ah, thanks for that! I didn't think anybody would have bothered to make a thread for it, but I should have searched regardless of that. Sorry! :)

EDIT: Here's a temporary post layout. Still working on it.

A Sunshine-esque Super Mario 64 hack? Awesome!

I should mention that your tags aren't working. Everything else is good though.

EDIT: By the way, the logo looks great. The symbol in the back is also in one of the screenshots... what does it represent exactly?

That's what I was referring to. The text doesn't change size or anything, so it shows up like that.

Hey everyone!

NSMBWii: RiiMIXED is now constantly getting closer and closer to completion. If I hadn't been taking my time on this project for the last two years, there would be several great ideas that probably never would have been implemented. At the same time, however, I feel that I should apologize for it taking this long. Hopefully there's still someone out there looking forward to this. :)

This hack is far from the most exemplary in terms of level design. It's my first ever project in terms of modding, and making levels based on designs from a multitude of different games makes a proper difficulty curve practically nonexistent. :P At the same time however, I'm trying my best to make it enjoyable, and when it's finally released, there's going to be lots of more content than just the main 82 levels I planned initially. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll leave it at that. Thanks for reading!
