I love the fact that it can convert almost all Java code into Python. I wonder if Whitehole could be eventually converted to Python this way. (not requesting anything NOW, but essentially "putting it on the table".)

I'm hoping its Super Mario 64 2, or a complete "reboot" of the series. Though I enjoyed Galaxy, Mario 64 is the best 3D Mario game there is.

This is mainly because of the game being non-linear and having the ability to explore worlds at your own pace, and the ability to get other stars in different missions. (a la getting the Chain Chomp guarded star in the first star in Bob-omb Battle Field.)

True Open World. Everything would be connected. Sunshine was the closest we got to that.

The Wii U is pretty powerful, so it should able to handle an open world; that was the main problem with the GameCube. It didn't have enough juice to handle the complexity of an open world.

I'm also hoping for an open world or a reboot of Mario 64.

I am wondering, since Whitehole already has BTI rendering code, is it possible to add a stand alone BTI editor to WiiExplorer?

I just downloaded obj2bdl and cannot get it to work. A windows just pops up and disappears really quick with no BDL file created. I have both Python and PyQt5.0 installed.

What's wrong? (Do I need Qt 4.0?)

I just installed Ubuntu on my late 08 iMac, and my god is it FAST. Ubuntu is even faster than Windows that I had on the same machine.

I'm in the process of getting parts for my first custom PC, and that's what I'm going to install on it.

Posted on 04-27-13 08:24 AM, in Why won't Riivolution load my custom music? Link | #21581
I have created custom music for Mario Kart Wii (BRSTM) and when I launch the game through Riivolution, I get a black screen. This happens when I have my music option on, but doesn't happen when I have my music option off. I am able to play the BRSTMs with BCSM-GUI and BrawlBox.....

Download: (Doesn't contain a revo_kart.brsar; too big)

Any ideas?

NO revo_kart.brsar? strange...

The main reason I didn't include it in the download was because it's 140MB. I'll upload it in a bit.

Download with revo_kart.brsar:

I thought you meant you didn't include a revo_kart.brsar when you applied the patch.

to fix it, make a new revo_kart.brsar. that solves it.

Thanks!

Actually, it was a corrupt menu file. I deleted my menus from my SD card, and the game loaded fine. I also made file specific patches for the music, and that worked.

Thanks again for the help.

Does anyone know the name of freeze flame galaxy? I'm texture swaping DK Summit's (MKWii) textures with Freeze Flame's and don't know what file FF is.

Thanks,
