This is an example of result of badly coded custom fonts:


In this specific case, a non-standard font is used, and no fallbacks are provided. The browser selects the universal default, Times New Roman. It's ugly. It's tiny.

You don't want to inflict that to people reading your posts.

Neither do I. I'm sick of seeing Times New Roman because people can't be assed to make proper CSS font.

Something tells me you are picking on me… but I could be wrong. Anyways, I DO know the main CSS font families. I don't like any of them, so I just pick a custom one that only affects me. Since this will cause an issue to everyone, I might as well stick to the shitty fonts, and avoid future complaints. What do you think I should use? Courier New?

No, no, no, no. Don't take it personally. Feel free to stick to nonstandard fonts, but please add fallback fonts that don't look like shit. Even if you don't like any of them, it'll still be better than Times New Roman.

I was showing your layout as an example of how Times New Roman completely wastes an otherwise good layout.

I never did take it personally. I knew I was doing something wrong. When you mean “fallback fonts,” do you mean like this…?


I know what it does. If the first font is not available, then it uses the other font, correct? All I need to do is add this, and all is good.

Continuum is a font that resembles the font used for the Wii logo and its peripherals such as Wii Fit and Wii Sports.

No, the font isn't Continuum. It's Sony Sketch EF. Find it on Cydia.

I hate it when there is no bass in a song. It truelly pisses me off, partly because I'm used to hearing lots of bass.

I also hate it when I have a little stray mark on my drawings, and have to take time how to fix it pixel by pixel.

What really annoys me the most is people waking me up during the day to tell me that something is happening, and that I have to answer/take care of it.

I'm single. To be honest, I've never dated before because I was shy, and rarely talked to anyone except my friends. I'm kind of like Arisotura, I don't like anyone, and never ever fell madly in love with someone.

Another reason why I never dated any girls was because most of the girls in my school were… desperate for a boyfriend. Yes, I was asked to date them like 4 times, and them all down.

Why did I turn them down?

Well, uh, I found out with my friend that most of the girls who asked you to be their date usually had intimate affairs. I don't think they have gone too far as to have sex, but I'm not willing to commit sin.

I don't think I'll find someone. In the meantime, I'll enjoy my single life to the fullest.
