I honestly don't understand why manual transmission is still so popular in europe and south america. Here in NA theres not much of it.

It's mostly popular in sports cars like the Camaro and Mustang GTs. In a standard, you shift when you want to. Why is this good? Your engine makes more sound the higher your tachometer reaches higher RPM levels. On a Corvette C7 Stingray, once the tachometer reaches the 6000 RPM, the engine is loud. Keep in mind that the engine is being strained, thus, making a lot of sound if you have a good exhaust system. Engines don't explode or burn up if you strain them for too long because most companies place a limiter on how high you can go per shift in the tachometer. The only way you could damage your car is to purposely rev up your engine to the red zone of the tachometer and letting the engine basically tear itself apart.

one of my biggest fears is stalling as I enter something like a big, fast-traffic roundabout, getting stuck in the middle of it

As long as you shift between the 4th - 6th RPM level, you should be fine. And stalling an engine is harder now on newer cars than old ones. Honda, Mazda, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Audi have engines that are kinda hard too stall, IMO.

You can still figure out the main user agent. :P The rest is in parentheses. I guess that is there for some reference or to list the similarities. Never quite took the time to look at mine either but I'd agree that they are getting excessively long.

The sad thing about Apple is that they are declining a lot in creativity. It's so bad, it isn't even funny. :P Yet, Apple still has loyal fans and somehow gets profit.

Something that just pissed me off was that many Apple fans said that the iPhone 7 was waterproof. There's no fully waterproof smartphone yet. There's many smartphones that have high water resistancy. The Sony Xperia Z5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Active are some phones that have high resistancy to water but not quite waterproof. Just because Apple says its “water resistant,” don't goddamn assume it's waterproof.

On another note, Apple can make consumers believe they have the “latest technology,” just by redesigning the same damn thing. Personally, the tactics Apple uses to trick consumers into buying iPhones is genius. They can have a ton of money with those methods. (Personally, I want to know those methods…)

I can believe that Apple could go bankrupt in the near future. :P

Instead of buying the FairPhone, try considering buying the Four Dollar Android Phone. (Yes, FOUR dollars.)

May sound borderline conspiracy theory. But it's something a capitalist system could very well do. Oh hey, this is USA we're talking about, surprise.

The US offers freedom to a certain extent. This is where most Americans interpret freedom incorrectly. Many believe just because the US boats of freedom means that you can do whatever you want. Unfortunately, the majority of Americans - those born here - won't realize that the US isn't as great as many natives claim it to be.

I think foreigners that reside in the US have the best concept of how the US truly is. Natives just boast about how “great” the US is without knowing what happens “behind the scenes.”

Just a few ridiculous US state laws that exist.

Oh and the real reason why the Nissan Skyline GT-R [R-34] is banned in the US is because Mercedes-Benz is a bitch.

Friendly Driver
The driver that lets everybody merge, stays where he/she should be, obeys the traffic signals, isn't flying past you at a million miles an hour...

God, I wish more drivers were like this. ;_;

Also, out of curiosity : does every driver here obey every single traffic law? I can say I obey most but not all. An example is me going 85 MPH on a 75 MPH highway. :P I usually don't go 10 MPH over the speed limit and if I do, it's either me racing someone or passing someone at a highway.

I've never been pulled over by an officer (somehow managed, BTW), and I haven't crashed yet. I've had many near misses, though. There was this one time where I nearly had a collision in downtown Houston. I was driving 5 MPH below the limit since I had a trailer cargo cart attached to my truck and knew it took me more time to slow down and speed up. I was going through the rightmost lane in a very populated road and traffic was everywhere. Suddenly, the light turned red and people started slowing down very quickly. Me, having cargo, couldn't stop very quickly and realized I would crash into the car in front of me. I don't know how but I made the decision to sharply turn right into an empty parking lot and using the unevenly distributed weight to stop the truck before I crashed into another car in the parking lot. That was pure luck right there. I'm pretty sure I used up all my luck there and will crash next time this happens.

I've heard some countries allow cars (mostly supercars) to go as fast as they want in a freeway. I can't really believe this since I haven't seen any proof but I don't see why it's not possible.

Isn't it simply amazing that there are over 6,500 languages in the world? :D Yet, most of us might not find it interesting since we won't know what something is written down in a different language. :P
