As for Cosmic Mario Races, as far as I know they're deprecated too, I did a bunch of messing around with it, the comet loads like a normal star (minus the comet animation at the star select screen) which means the comet value itself in the scenario file is deprecated, not to mention my trigger to start the race did nothing either (so ghostplayer and everything is deprecated too).


The comet isn't deprecated because of the fact that you can enter everything in the comet section of a ScenarioData.bcsv file! I tried "Ghost", "Black" and "1234" and they don't crash the game.

Big news! I'm currently working on the beta release. This update adds tons of new things:
~ Removed World 1 to World S
~ Replaced them with Dark, Wet, Cloudy, Mysterious and Burning World, Intergalactic Castle and Aurora World
~ Added text for World G, Green Stars 4 and 5, Flying and Ice Mario
~ Removed blue Launchstar (chips)
~ Removed "-Galaxie" from the "short" names in the German version
~ Changed "Green Star [Number]" to "The [Number] [Green Star icon] Green Star"
~ Changed Boss Blitz Galaxy's German name ("Die Intergalaktische Bossparade" to "Intergalaktische Bossparade")
~ Changed the intro background (AuroraSky)
~ Changed the savegame description
~ Changed the credits

To-Do:
~ Finish the galaxies of the Dark World
~ Change Starship Mario's sky
~ Fix the Grand World Map glitch
~ Change text
~ Add crash debugger

I found another cool thing. Dark King Kaliente is still present in the game's code except his model files. If added back in, he will work just as before. Set Obj_arg1 to 0.

Don't stop the cutscene, otherwise the game crashes!

Does it work if I change the background in the ZoneFileMap.arc with a BCSV editor?

Probably it crashes, because of a camera error or something like that.

The boss works, but if I stop his intro cutscene the game crashes. That's the problem :o
The models I've added were OtaKingLv2and OtaKingFootLv2.
