I use an old wired mouse for my gaming but the scroll wheel is screwed up and really loose, it makes some games pretty difficult to play.

Im not much of a web developer myself (I don't do it very often), but since i've been going through js this year in my schools programming course i've seen a lot of what I guess could be considered hipster code.

Personally, I find that the biggest problem with hipster code is trying to make things fancy, and the programmer basically brain masturbating to "look how complicated I can make this look". I see it like the difference between a rube goldberg machine that makes a light turn on and a button that does the same, both work, but one is just a whole lot easier to break and much too complicated for its own good.

I started using µblock recently and have found it really nice, especially for those "pls dont block our ads" ads on news sites that cover the whole page.

So, bash on windows 10, how do you guys feel about this? I think its kinda cool, but i'll probably just stick with using linux for that kind of stuff.

The .data format is zlib compressed, once decompressed it has a model format(?) that hasn't been figured out yet.

I used bash on win 10 a little since I get the preview builds, and its so-so, not as useful as it could be. I feel like it would be more useful if microsoft took this opportunity they have working with the canonical guys to work more on the whole .net portable thing they were talking about a while ago.

well I threw a hammer in it, and a while later, I found a tiny hammer on my bed

You have obviously invented a shrink ray, have you thrown anything else into this shrink ray? What if you threw a regular sized pizza in it, would you get one of those small personal pan pizzas?

They seem to be avoiding doing it by doing all this packed js app stuff ala electron. I don't know why they haven't moved off of winforms to something more universal for .net stuff, though its probably laziness. I really like the .net based languages (much better than java imo) so its kinda disappointing to see microsoft neglect them like this.

The only real good way to lose weight is exercise and proper eating. I've been losing weight by walking the half a mile from my school to my house every day as well as doing push ups and sit ups. The thing about diet food that I find hilarious is that they are technically worse for you because of how many chemicals they pump into most kinds of it. The only diet thing i'll ever get is diet sweetened tea, and thats onle because it uses splenda (which isnt as bad as other chemicals they could use and is on average less calories) and is, most of the time, about as expensive as the regular stuff.

After everyone and everything else had been sucked into the blackhole and it promplty closed, Mr. Rean stepped out of the shadows delighted by his work. He knew the spambot would explode from the idiocy, he designed it that way. Now he had his one way ticket to becoming the overlord of neo-kuribo64. The maniacal laughter of the destructor of worlds filled the air.

Somewhere very very far away from kuribo64, a familiar face was thrown out of a whitehole, landing directly on his face. StapleButter got up, brushed the dirt off of his shirt, and looked around. he saw...

The screen of light in front of Staple's face closed, the last thing on it being a picture of Rean's cackling face. Elyos went up to StapleButter and explained to him about the bot, but Staple didn't care. Staple took out his ban hammer and swung as hard as he could. It hit Eylos, but bounced off, shattering as it hit the ground. It didn't make any sense, how had Staple's ban hammer lost power? From the beginning of kuribo64, he had made sure the ban hammer was disconnected from the board at least a little, so that it could be used in situations such as this. Something was wrong here. Then, it clicked. Rean had done it, the ban hammer broke because Rean had...

Does this mean the hall of shame is getting an update? Or no because you didn't get any emails from him like with other HoS members.

Greasemonkey is pretty much the bane of shitty web design. For instance, I made a to top button for twitter in greasemonkey since it uses infinite scroll and and its a pain to scroll back up when you get new tweets. Its simple, but i've found myself using it quite a bit.

you can use the scrollbar drag button thing to scroll back up quickly

Eh, that tends to lag for me.

Doesn't the "Page Up" key accomplishes the same thing?
Though I dunno if all keyboards have such key.

Well im a derp, I never really used that key so I completely forgot about it.

Back to 3dsthemes, it really is shady/greedy, I get that you need to pay for server space and all that but don't 100% block your users that use adblock. Im even ok with those 'don't use adblock' banners as long as its not intrusive.
