What I find confusing is why you called an emulator, its not doing any sort of emulation, its like saying that microsoft word is an emulator for a non-existant microsoft word console. You may as well just call it a 3d engine (its not even really that though, from what I can tell its just drawing simple graphics with a pre-existing library) because emulator is misleading imo, as that would imply its reading some sort of machine code\executable for another system.

You want a chrome-os pc? Thats all you are getting if you have a chromebook. My suggestion is to ask a friend/parent/someone you know to help you because otherwise you really are not getting anywhere.

IIRC They were changed to the way they are due to people abusing them to hide giant images and such, and eventually it just became a bit too much.

Since my school uses chromebooks getting past what they use to watch their students screens is easy. The thing they use is an extension for chrome, so it can only see the browser window not other extensions/apps; I just packaged the multi tabbed browser app from the chromium repo (when it was up) and use it whenever I use my chromebook.

I don't listen to too many different kinds of music, though the two I tend to listen to the most are glitch hop and electro swing. I swear im not a hipster :P Rap is really hit or miss for me, there's way too much of it though imo.

Some of my teachers think that having projects due the week before finals is a good idea, and they think this because (as they have said) "no one else is crazy enough to do that". Turns out that they are that crazy, because 4 out of 8 of my teachers are doing it.

Some of them (one of them) yes. The line of thinking they seem to have is "They will do my project because no one else will give them one this late, meaning I'll get all the projects on time". They were wrong.

Is it just me or did youtube quietly purge the list style for the subscriptions page? For me it automatically shifted to that awful looking grid style, and while the button to change it back is still there, it doesn't do anything.

Seeing this thread active again reminded me to update my post layout, and, well, here it is. I like your new layout LeftyGreenMario, the drawing for it is really nice!

I think i've only ever even seen rvlution once, which is probably a good thing considering how many awful things I hear about it. How exactly did it go to crap and how fast?

Speaking of microsoft, someone got onto my microsoft account by getting my password somehow and I only got an email about it, no other information that could tell me if it was caused by some sort of connection issue with one of my devices. As bad as google can be sometimes, they at least give you info about that sort of thing, like when and where you last logged in and on what device.

Im only going to make one post here because arguing politics on the internet is like fist fighting a bullet train; I'd vote trump over hillary any day. Honestly, I'd rather have a truthful asshole than a seemingly nice lier. I liked sanders the most out of all of them (though some of his ideas were really bad) but he really doesn't have much of a chance now due to americas current party system.

Twitch still uses flash so im not surprised its laggy and broken, in fact flash causes a bug where if its not the most recent version a streams audio will work just fine but the video will lag out and eventually just fully stop working.

Next year im going to be taking a class specifically geared towards programming as a half day thing along with my regular classes, the place doing it is replacing all the computers with windows 10 touch screen monitor computers. Them being touch screen computers is what baffles me the most though, because its really not useful for that kind of class. Hopefully i'll be allowed to use my own laptop in that class.

I just recently switched over to linux after using it for half of the school year and for most of the summer so far, and I was using mint at first but I decided to switch to arch mostly because I love the package manager. Oh and if you are wondering about having me having two different steam shortcuts, its because winetricks added one for the wine version.

TheKoopaKingdom's awnser was similar to the way I learned, but I also learned as I went by working on a few simple projects. In terms of actual tutorials, its not c++ its c but "Learn C The Hard Way" by Zed Shaw is a really nice book I suggest reading.

Yeah, learning by doing is one of the best ways; I didn't think a lot of people agreed with me on that or learned that way like I did, but apparently they do from what Yami and Mariomaster are saying :P I know I already suggested a "tutorial", but its best to just use it for refrence if you get stuck with something (I tend to only just jump around in it when I need it).

Also, don't be afraid to look things up if there really is something you can't figure out. I have found that learning by doing makes solving problems and spotting bugs easier in the future because in a tutorial you usually don't have a lot of bugs or issues appear.
