Honestly, an average pay is fine by me. I can live with it and have fun with it without going to far.

To prevent the box from having the theme post BG
In your parent div add:
margin: 0;
padding: 0;

In your post div add a margin defined for each side rather than using margin property.

To extend the post box the way to the bottom
Add to parent div:
min-height:400px !important;

Add to post div:
min-height:50px !important;

edit: oh yeah also, if you have several avatars of varying sizes and don't want your layout to be huge to account for all of them, you give up on it at some point.

Might be common sense to you or anyone decent at CSS, not to a confused newb though...
