I was thinking of a graveyard-like level, actually.

It would be kinda cool if you like jump into a grave to come to the boss fight or something.

Feedback on the model used: the brick textures are way too small, it doesn't look good especially from a distance and will limit the amount/size of textures you can use without glitches/crashing.

How would I go about increasing the size of the textures?

Right-click on a textured surface and click on Texture > Position.

I've re-extracted the rom to start fresh, re-imported my model, and checked everything, and now I open a file, and there's no beeping noise or crash, but instead a blank white screen. Happens on both 0.9.9 and 0.9.10, I only removed all objects in star 1 and any stars, moved entrances 0-3 to above a solid surface and imported my model, nothing else. I really don't understand this error, is importing into the castle grounds just not possible?

Same problem for me, I can't import into castle grounds, the screen is just white when I start the rom.

Did you remove the texture animations?

Yes I did, can't really figure out anything I did wrong :/

Edit: I kinda got it to work but the game froze and it looked really glitchy

For some reason the level worked when I removed all the rabbits, don't know why they caused a problem though :/

the star looks strange because that is in the feather code, but i can't change it.

Wouldn't it be possible to rotate the model so it looks like it's standing upright?

That looks really good! I wonder why they didn't merge them together in the real game

About the video what you send to me... i will buy a smg game and copy the mario planet, or the star observatory, the castle didn't will be the hub world in this hack...

The observatory will probably fit better than starship mario since it doesn't use any special gravity

Sorry for the off-topicness here, but how did you import over the castle grounds? It always crashes for me when I do that.

You have to remove all the existing animations from the level

When I import any custom music to any level, the Castle Inside music won't play. The thing is it plays good on emulators but on an actual DS it doesn't play at all.

Okay, I apologize for my really nooby questions but could maybe anyone explain a little bit more in detail about how to go about replacing the title screen. I know nothing about all this decompression stuff and I have no idea what 'overlay 7' is. I understand if you don't want to or so but it would be nice if one of you could atleast try? :)

Okay, I think I understand most of it now, thanks alot! I just have a question, I can't seem to find overlay 7 with NSMBe, where is it located?

"I can't seem to find overlay 7 with NSMBe, where is it located?" - You didn't look very hard. It's under "ARM9 Overlay Table" > "OV 7".

I suppose that's the .bin file called 'arm9ovt.bin'? If so, how do I replace overlay 7 inside it?
