No you guys have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

"The animation addresses were gone once we did this" <- this says much on how much you actually know from this. Also copypasting data is not going to solve the problem. Instead of expecting others to make tools for you, you should make your own tool to support the things you want. It just annoys me that you guys are sitting on your ass until someone gives you a magical plugin.

We do that because we can't do that self.

Ass bullshit. Everybody can learn to program. but with this attitude are will accomplish nothing but looking like a lazy ass.

Posted by Rainbow Mario
And yes we can sit down and wait for it because someone is actually working on it.

Seriously? You are going to trust on someone who says someone might be working on a plugin which MIGHT does the thing you want. even IF he will finish it who says he is going to give it to you? Again, do shit yourself, don't expect others to do it for you.

Shit this conversation goes way to fast, I haven't replied yet

As much as I agree with you Jesse, is there anything you are doing in that direction?

If you mean helping them, I tried to come up ideas on how they could do it. I have tried to explain what was going wrong when you made a custom yoshi, or copy pasting stuff into the bdl. yet they come up with weird stuff like "animation addresses". but meh, its their project, I have my own stuff of course.

Regarding blue saying that it would take years to master a computer language. Me 4 or 5 months back: "I am too stupid to learn programming". 5 months later I build a Pak editor in c# which can do various stuff with pak and its content like editing string files and importing files with compression. Of course the program is not perfect and it lacks allot of stuff. But as I progress trying to add stuff, I get better and better at it.

It might seem I am trying to make you look like a fool, GalaxyHacker. But I am trying to activate you to learn to make stuff your own. This is so important when it comes to hacking games and stuff like this. Not only you learn to make programs, but you will learn how files work and how you can modify them in a correct way. And trust me, I am one of the worst students at my class, yet I am able to learn this stuff, so can you.

actually datagridview already handles multi selection. (don't know about java though)

I feel like I should make a program which perfectly exports and imports bdls with bones to whatever format is supporting that shit, and then never releasing. Just for hell's sake.

but on the serious note though, I find yoshi with a hat pretty random, weird, and stupid. why would anyone contribute to this, its random as fuck and you get nothing from it.

I don't respect "that" or their idea.

I feel like this thread is starting to look like a postcount++ thread.

I did nothing but giving my opinion, so I don't get why GH is butthurt anyway. if it wasn't for that, things like this "But it's also frustrating that nobody wants to take the chance to help on contributing to make this real" gave me more reasons to give my opinion and disrespect the idea.

But fine, I will not say anything downgrading about this project anymore, to prevent more drama.

well I bought spore when I had a windows xp, but now I have windows 8. So the game in general crashes all the time, especially in the space part. Which is stupid since I always wanted to finish that game.

shouldn't this be done by the original team? I doubt if sonic1000 got any experience with stuff like this because he doesn't seem to be part of the original team, but I might be wrong.

I am a bit disappointed here, I don't find this new style an improvement. its driving me crazy thats its in the middle instead of on the sides, but that aside.

"Goodbye display names"
Say hello to my confusing and hard-to-remember name, I was very happy with display names.

"Goodbye profile comments"
I don't understand why this was a problem to begin with, this feature was one of the reasons why I liked this board so much.

Although I find your anti-spam measures a good thing, like no more quote pyramids. But I find it sad that you had to remove the finest features of this board.

I can change your name to Jesse if you want.

If you could do that, please. I think I will have to get used to this new board anyways.

Yeah I am going to be the dick here but this HD remake doesn't look fancy at all. People are overreacting. seriously look at the models.

- The three models look detestable
- akward mario 64 animations

and the most frustrating point

- indirect texture mapping

because this is a game he is forced to scale the textures down. and what do you get? weird ass ugly black lines. you have no idea the frustration.

for me this game needs a whole design and gameplay makeover to be recognized as a worthy mario 64 HD remake.

Or just simple ARM assembly, but since that cost too much time with finding the where and how he just makes his life not a hell by just leaving it as it is.
