If this involves a kcl, what Id would this KCL have, and what does the waterflag do? And how would it help make a sphereical water planet or any free form shape of water?

What about planets and their file size? I made an planet that was 17 megabytes. It didn't load. My wii froze when I tried to enter the level. Texture sizes would probably cause lag and other problems too.

MrRean, the SeaVolcanoZone thing is actually used in the final game. If you open up whitehole, (click TearDropGalaxy) In drip drop galaxy, you should see SeaVolcanoZone right underneath TearDropGalaxy(Zone). Also for the Launch Star at the beginning of honey hive. it does appear. You have to reach a certain part of the galaxy in order for it to appear (I think the end at the top of the big tree) then jump down off the big tree onto the beginning of the level. There should be a launch star there and it should propel you back to the Power star on the top of the big tree.

I think lots of stalagmites and stalactites with the very point having a KCL that is the same as the spikes on Clockwork Ruins Galaxy(wouldn't want to brush by the side of one and get hurt). I like your idea.

People who are too lazy to help others or explain stuff to others that need the knowledge. What good is that do you and them. and in general, people who are too lazy.

I'm okay if its just unnecessary work, then I'm lazy too. I agree with you too, Dego. I guess it depends on the situation.

I can see why Nintendo cares. I mean all that online Mario Kart hacking must be annoying for Nintendo.

I think you should start making transparent textures. That would be helpful especially for water areas, but I'm not sure if the current obj2bdl program works with those.

Great find! What about negative values? Would the object spin the opposite way?

How do you create custom water areas that you can swim in. Like a sphere or a cylinder?

I think you could make it look really good with baking shadows into the textures.

Thanks for your help. that will come in handy, but I was looking more for any shape you want using a model creator and kcl maker tools, and possibly the water flag thing on the PlanetMapDataTable. anyone know about that?

Please eventually make a model importer that can do some fancier stuff. It would be a great step in SMG hacking. If you already are making one, that's great! For those who don't want to put the time into contributing to the whole hack, start putting actual time into it if you can. I'm in the middle of making a dash Yoshi level. Good job on your work so far blank.

I was thinking of making a dash Yoshi level for SMG2.5. It is going to feature curves, tall walls, box runs, flat dash areas, glass cages, spinys, and bullet bills. So far I have made one crappy trial model that will have further changes made to it. Most likely texture and shading changes. So, tell me what you guys think. Please tell me if someone is doing this already.

I've got a bullet bill launcher model that you could use for this level

I hate it when people yell at you when you for forgetting something that could have easily been forgotten. It's not like they have perfect memories. do you guys yell at your teacher when they forget something?

Example:

"Marcus, you forgot to do this page, you get a detention with me after school for an hour!!" next day
"Mr. Someone, did you mark those test papers you said you would?" "no sorry Marcus I forgot."-would you yell at your teacher for that?

And I hate it when people demand respect they don't deserve. And when they think they're higher, more superior, and more important, without good reason.

I didn't know you could double post (or do you need special permission to do that)

You know how the 2D Mario games had it so Mario could bounce off of a bullet bill? What if MN1 programmed it so it would work like that? I personally think it would be very interesting.

I wonder if you could change the kcl of the bullet bill to work like that? you probably could split the top of the bullets kcl from the bottoms kcl and make the top one bouncy. Would it work? Yep, I'm going to try it out.
