It is reopened...

Kuribo Café Thr3e!

Now run by Staryu Trek. I don't have a chef yet, except for an asocial Klingon who only makes blood pie, blood soup etc. I want to fire him, but every time I attempt to, he threatens me with his bat'leth (Klingon sword). So I might need to hire a 'chief of firement'. As the café is right now, we won't be very lucrative, but hey, at least we're already in a better state than the current state of the Kuribo Café - Rebooted, and we have a menu:

Menu
Panc... eh, waffles!
Nope, totally no pancakes. Where've you heard that?

Delicious Cake
Dear Mario, please come to the castle.

Draconic bacon
Does not contain any traces of Arisotura's dragons.

Stroopwafel
   A waffle, but it's green.

  Drinks

Wii U
From our barista.Wait, do we even have a barista?

More to be added on the menu when I have actual personnel that doesn't just prepare blood dishes. Payment in dollars, pounds, Dutch florins (we don't accept euros even though we use them since 2002. Logic I guess), Yellow/Red/Blue/Purple Coins and Frog Coins.

Okay hired - you're our new chef. Adding Slowpoke Tail for 1 000 000 Pokédollars (like in IIRC HG/SS) (or for free if the customer shows us a cheating device or a modded console (no, we don't count consoles bricked during the modding process)) and Venusaur leaf salad.

*walks to kitchen*

Hey Kraag, we have a new chef. Move over.

Kraag: *unintelligible since I don't understand Klingon speak, but his pulled bat'leth says enough*

OK Xero, looks like you will have to work with that Klingon until I've found someone with a weapon stronger than a bat'leth (a certain kind of hammer might work). But hey, I will raise your salary with ¢1 per week as long as you can survive stand working with him.

I know that at least in Sun/Moon, sometimes NPC guests give more FC for correctly interacting with them than usually, which is after the fortune teller says you'll have decent/good/pretty good luck (increasingly higher rewards) in Festival Plaza. So it's nothing to worry about. IIRC nothing really changed in the Ultra games (US/UM use the same engine as S/M (so technically US/UM are ROM hacks of S/M - a wonder Nintendo approved /j)) when it comes to Festival Plaza except they added a new facility and of course the

Episode Rainbow Rocket
shenanigans.

301 3DS playcoins or 100 Blue Coins from Super Mario Sunshine. And no cheating - I want to see you collect them. Alternatively, we accept Dogecoins.

I looked at videos of other people but they get small amounts and one time i got 90FC
IIRC this depended on how much luck you have according to the fortune teller. But lemme check Bulbapedia...
EDIT: Right, the rewards increase with your rank, with 10 FC max from NPCs (without fortune teller bonus) when your rank is 51 or higher. If you speak to the fortune teller, they might say you'll have decent (FC from NPCs × 2), good (FC from NPCs × 3) or pretty good (FC from NPCs × 4) luck in Festival Plaza. And 90 FC... are you sure you're not mistaken with the total FC collected?
My brother got it from the website of nintendo and he said he brought it cheaper then resale price still expensive but its weird.
From the website of Nintendo? Well, knowing how proud the Big N is of its intellectual property, they won't be selling hacked games, lol.
how long do the foutune teller luck last for? i never used it before
Brb checking Bulbapedia.
EDIT: 24 hours, but you have to have talked to the fortune teller.

13 Dogecoins. The unlucky number, so be warned your waffle may catch fire.

I'm on an o3DS too. On a modded 3/2DS, the region of a game doesn't matter anymore if you have the right homebrew. HANS and stuff. If you want to know how to mod your 2DS, carefully follow the steps on 3DS Hacks Guide (first site you should come across if googling (no Bing, Google) "how to mod 3DS". That site works on 3DS too. Though, not all 3DS-related sites work on 3DS. Yes, THERE ARE 3DS-RELATED SITES THAT DON'T WORK ON 3DS!

BRUH?

Reddit works again a little - it used to not even show a thread's first post, now it does, partly.

Same here. I only used cheats to make my Servine in White female (it looked so cute in the feminine musical outfits! :) ) and to see what other 3D views look like. I would use the codes that trigger event Pokémon, though, but not before the postgame. The event 'mons are just the normal event 'mons, like Meloetta. In SM64DS I cheat to investigate the behaviours of objects. I contribute to the rarely-even-used-anymore Object Database on this site. Someday I'll upload it to SM64DSe Ultimate's Git. And good idea, having an unmodded 2DS and a modded 3DS.

NECRO-EDIT: About getting a New3DS for YouTube (I know you'll read this someday, Xero) - the official YouTube client for 3DS has been discontinued long ago, but homebrew YT clients took over, and now there's FourthTube, which is KINDA functional (it crashes sometimes and often, it fails to load videos lately due to decryption shenanigans) even on Old3DS.

But BTT, I've found a site with 00s-style minigames specifically made to work on 3DS. It also has a primitive bot you can chat with.
Also, MIPS Hole Wiki. It's an ARG wiki about the theory that there's an A.I. inside cartridges of Super Mario 64 and the Nintendo 64 itself that personalizes the game based on how the player plays it. It doesn't always do this flawlessly, sometimes spawning disturbing anomalies such as the Wario Apparition.

Yes, capitalism! We gotta make money. And anybody endangering our profits will be sued out of the way!

(I hope Nintendo won't sue us for copying their way of making money.)

Can I have the pizza box pl0x? I could replicate some. A pizza box that replenishes, sounds like a good marketing stunt. People like stuff like that that's green.

GHOST, go here instead, and scroll down a bit until you come across a .xdelta file called something along the lines of Super Mario 64 DS N64 Restoration.xdelta. That's the file you want to download. Please note that this .xdelta file isn't playable yet - you'll have to find a European SM64DS ROM - or dump one yourself if you have the right Game Card and a modded 3DS - and xDelta Patcher to apply the xDelta patch to the ROM, which will turn it into a playable hackrom. Any more questions - feel free to ask them. Note: I haven't worked on this hack, I'm just helping.

Played Yoshi's Island long ago. When my mom manages to hook up her SNES to her TV like she managed to do with her SEGA Mega Drive, I'ma play it again probably.

My favourite video games are Super Mario 64 DS, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World, Super Mario 64: Last Impact and The Sims 2 DS.

Posted on 12-02-24 08:00 PM, in Tutorial - SM64DS Level Creation 101 Link | #101924

Chapter 7:
Playtesting time!

Think your level is finally playable? There can still be something wrong. You'll never know until you playtest it.

A word of advice: if you can, test on original hardware (DS or 3DS). Even the best emulator can be inaccurate at some points.

Anyway, test every mission of your level and the player character's interaction with every object and collision type. If you have path-following objects in your level, make sure they can complete the path from beginning to end.

Most important thing to test, though, is whether the polygon count on-screen gets too high at anytime, which you can see from holes appearing in the level model or the object models. This looks ugly and is a sign the place this happens in needs a lower polygon count or less objects. Usually the latter.
Of course, testing for glitches is important, but you should also test how difficult your level is. Too many enemies in one place, platforms too far or too high apart, a too large distance to travel with a power-up without doing everything perfectly etc. All of this is important too.

One last advice: play your level like someone who'd play it for the first time would play it. And also test if there isn't any part of the level too bland and/or empty.
Well, that was it. Do you still have any questions? Feel free to ask them.

This thread is, from what I see, old news BTW. The reason Arisotura wanted to archive K64 was because of lots of inactive accounts getting hacked for spamming. A solution to this has been found in the meantime (I hope Arisotura didn't forget to work on the inactive-account-locking feature, though...). Another reason she wanted to archive the board was because of the low activity. Well, activity comes and goes in waves - currently we're in a period of low activity again - but we as K64 users can easily solve that: don't just lurk, post! All users who check this board (about six to nine users a day, usually (not even counting users who don't show up in the online users list)), don't be shy to post in the thread you're reading! (But please do make sure to not post meaningless nonsense. Don't postcount++, OK?)
Seriously, if every user who checks this board at least once a week, posted at least once every day they check the board, the board would be quite active again.

EDIT: W00t, I'm a Cheep-Cheep now!

*looks at sprite*

TF Stapul, that ain't no Cheep-Cheep, Cheep-Cheeps ain't green. That's a Deep-Cheep, ma'am!
