How many lightyears did you travel? Because I know the Shiny odds increase the farther you travel.

And regarding the NFC, which is used for Amiibos, maybe it could help looking up Wumiibo (Helper), an Amiibo emu for 3DS, to figure the workings out.

Every participating country sends an artist who will perform singing their song and in the end people at home can vote (except for the contestant from your own country) for the song they like most. I say song, but the performance plays a part in this too, so the artists often go all out, resulting in some pretty weird acts (like Windows95man linked above). During the finals, there are jury votes too and they can give a few votes, each of which has a number of points up to 12 (the infamous douze points) - they basically create a top-10. The artist who gets the most points, wins and their country will host the Song Contest next year.

I haven't heard many really good songs in the first semifinal, but Italy's is good. But they didn't participate in this semifinal, they are automatically through to the finals because their song is that good.

Just you wait until Discord goes down due to a cyber attack or malfunction. But yeah, K64 (and its IRC) for example has been overshadowed by the SM64DS Hacking Discord. One of the reasons I refused to register to Discord for a very long time was how much it sucked away the activity from boards.

An active and friendly retro forum culture in the modern day would be great, but it usually just ends up where you drag people off Discord to have a little tea play party with plushies and then you go back after a while.

Relatable. After I joined SM64DS Hacking, some of the ROM hackers would start to lurk (mind you: lurk) on K64 again. For a while. That while has ended.

Yeah, I've seen Ahrefsbot and Semrush here too, but their sites said they only crawl the sites for search engine accessibility. Nothing sus I thought, but I was wrong apparently.
