Well this is it. We are officially at the end of the 3DS/Wii U's eShop. As of March 27th, 2023, you will no longer be able to do the following:

- Download Games/Apps Not Previously Purchased
- Sync Funds On Switch For Use On 3DS/Wii U

There are a few things you still can do as of now, but they may be unavailable one day in the future. However, luckily it should be very far into the future considering even the Wii/DSi's shops allow you to do some of the listed things below.

- Sync Funds From 3DS/Wii U Onto Switch To Buy Games There
- Re-Download Previously Purchased Games/Apps
- Update Games/Other Software
- Download Some Free Themes On 3DS

Either way, RIP 3DS/Wii U eShop. You will be missed. 2011-2023. I expect game prices to go up soon especially for Pokemon. If you want to install new games, either find the cartridge and dump them or do something by going somewhere that I don't think I can say here because its illegal technically (even if basically impossible to enforce).

Why is Wikipedia's margins so horribly wide now. if you want a narrow webpage use the mobile version. Bulbapedia also has those huge margins and I'm wondering if that's a new "trend" going on. I have a big monitor, I want to make use of it. Thanks.

I don't know, but I'm not liking it really. I do find it funny that (on Wikipedia at least) I like the mobile version more. Usually I prefer the PC version especially on PC.

Why respawns in Koopa Cape + Bowser's Castle aren't fixed? I have the latest version (3.0 not beta)

That doesn't seem good. I don't work on the game but I'd see if it works myself, however my DS is dead and its charger is broken so unless I can do emulator for MKDS Deluxe then I can't really help. I'll have to see if I can and if it crashes there for me.

Not too much as of now, I've kinda just been working on my own shit currently. I should try to use this forum a bit more eventually, I'll have to see lol. A while back I made a thread in Gaming about the 3DS/Wii U eShop shutdown but thats about it I guess.

Site is cool, I really need to use sites like these more, they're better than Twitter anyways and its also pretty nice being able to easily share exactly which post I want to share to others if I happen to have extremely interesting discussion and want to share it with other ppl.

I might try to do more with my hacker-like theme CSS but I'll have to see. Kuribo64 W, Acmlmboard W, also you have 9009 posts so I must do the obligatory "its over 9000".

I use FireFox Developer Edition the most, though I also like to mess around with the old Nintendo console browsers here and there. I found out that Jul works on both DSi and Wii which is cool, for a while I actually thought practically the only good site that worked on both was 3DSPaint/DSiPaint.

I used to use Brave for a while, before that Opera GX (GX i uninstalled because it was slow as fuck). I've never used anything like TOR tho. I heard Brave had built-in TOR so if FireFox for some reason ever became terrible (or rather FireFox dev became terrible), I'd switch back to Brave since I hate regular Chrome and Opera GX I don't really like because its pretty laggy for me.

Notepad++, easy choice for me. Works well too, tons of features, etc. I would say VSCode but this isn't IDEs just regular text-editing software as OP said.

Windows 10, probably the best actually updated version of Windows if you can take the time to remove all the useless shit they try to put on the system. However, it isn't exactly amazing either and I might try to switch to Linux eventually. I will have to see but still, I'll probably get myself a 5TB hard-drive and just partition that before I do so in order to prevent me from running out of space after a while (I currently only have a 2TB hard-drive and I'd prefer to install on my laptop's SSD).
