The ship doesn't need to change... also, I don't think we should make world 2 the "sun" world again, though a giant sun seems pretty awesome. That said, there's definitely a lot of space stuff we haven't covered yet, world 5 could be a galaxy full of dying stars, as you get further to the edge of the universe, stuff like that...

Okay, just going to pop in here and offer my thoughts: No toad brigade additional members. They're fine the way they are. A running gag could be funny, it doesn't need to be a "joke" perse, but maybe just something like every time we encounter the toads, their ship has been busted in some way, or one of the members is always missing, something like that.

I think it should be more of a test of everything you've gone through, rather than just a super hard level. Like, using the gimmicks that are exclusive to SMG2 (and by extension SMG2.5) in a really fun way.

Although I'd be open to moving this level, I think it's worth giving it a shot keeping it here and making a more lighthearted fire/ice combo than has been done in SMG1 and SMG2.

Those are both too fast for the pace that Mario moves at. I might sound kinda stupid saying that, but if you imagine this playing with gameplay it just... doesn't fit. For a "rock" sounding theme, just take the Digga-leg/King Whomp Boss music.

Edit: As an example, not literally to use in the level of course.

Well, I just don't think the ship needs to have environmental effects. They'd be neat but they're not worth going out of our way to make happen.

Retextured/Remodeled Boss ideas:

Boney Piranha- Pewee (or Dino Piranha) but with a skull/bone texture, if we used Dino Piranha the tail could have a skull on it that you knock into his head.

Gobblegut (can't think of a name for him...): How about a boney dragon that you need to fight?

Skullbetti: This one is pretty simple, we replace Sorbetti with a skull shape, and there's a bandaged part that acts as the boss's weak spot.

So just to reiterate, this galaxy is FOOD themed, not "Fast Food" themed. The name is fast food because it introduces Dash Yoshi and nothing more! Now, back on topic... Remember that we don't need to use dash Yoshi in both of the stars, and we could do some fun things with food in general. I'm just going to list some concepts I'd like to see:

- 2D donut planets with gravity, as well as 3D donut planets that you can walk all the way around (perhaps a star chip challenge?)

- A frying pan you need to platform across, where the actual pan will burn you, but you can jump between spoons/forks and whatnot. Or, if we want to make it have more to do with dash yoshi, it could have bacon that curves up steeply so you have to use a dash pepper to run up.

- Some people suggested a bowl of milk that you can swim through... that might be neat, or just a glass of water. What else could be cool is a bowl full of cereal that you need to platform across, and the "milk" acts like swamp water, so if you touch it you die.

- A soda planet with a fountains shooting out of the tops of soda cans, maybe? You can use the fountains to reach greater heights.

That's all I've got for now...

I think the bob-omb battlefield remix is perfect as is, so let's not change that. I couldn't find any ricco harbor remixes but... maybe that doesn't need to change either...? We could use the original.

I think we should take a page from SM64 and make it a tiny/huge solar system, but take it to a new extreme in terms of the scale difference. It's a bunch of tiny planets, but when you go into a pipe, you come out so tiny that there you can't even see the tops of grass. Most of the enemies would be bugs, I think. We could even have many varying sizes that you become.

Like I stated earlier, the level needs to be EXACTLY the same for both Marios. If it differs at all, they could get off sync and ruin the entire level. So, we'll literally mirror the level... but the twist will actually be the collision. Only in the mirror does the REAL structure of the level show itself. So what might look like a bridge in the "real" area, would be shown to be a gap in the mirror, allowing you to avoid it, else you fall through the level.

I'd be fine with a happy first mission, and then a darker and more sinister second mission after bowser invades or something...

Edit: Like, maybe Bowser comes to the galaxy to extract more energy from the planets for his planet creator?

It's really not that difficult. You make the level, mirror it (most 3D programs allow you to mirror VERY easily) and then you can change the non-mirrored version.

I think you should enter through a pipe... it's going to lead to a 2D underwater area, a nonsensical mix of underwater and electricity.

Space BG is too realistic, font is meh and too bright (actually it seems to be the SMG2 font but it needs to be white or light blue with an outline or something). The formatting is a bit meh as well, I'll try to put in some graphic work to this later when I have time.

I really like the idea of a galaxy that almost seems to be falling apart due to its artificial nature... black holes, rips in space... etc. It'll be hard to pull off for sure, but it'll be neat if we can do it! Instead of the typical red/orange that dominates bowser levels, we should go for more purple/green here, if possible.
