Yes it has been confirmed. But why would you want to not give them paths? They just look... weird without them.

I actually didn't know they needed paths until I read these posts, I have a hammer bro who doesn't have a path (and yes, he does look a little weird without one) but he works fine on both Dolphin and console... and I can't even play with 0 frame skip without lagging, so it's no trouble at all for the game.

This did not happen to me. I used a weird version of wit to extract my game. I ran it using "wit.exe " instead of "wit ". I gave him the version of wit that comes with Dolphiilution. That's probably not the one I used though.

Extract your image (ISO, WBFS, GCZ) with WIT. You can always use one of the scripts that are around nowadays, but honestly..

wit EXTRACT "file.iso" "destination/"

.. isn't that hard.


I know it's not that hard, the main purpose I made it was for people who were completely new to hacking Wii/GameCube games. In fact, wit was made for people to make scripts off of if you read the website. Either way, I appreciate you leaving a link to my post. I am going to release an update soon for all the programs and even add some new ones, so it'll be a bit easier overall.

I was thinking at first that it was just how the game was, but now I think it's a problem with Whitehole. Is it possible to look into it? An example is the small brown planet that has a launch star in Yoshi Star Galaxy (SMG2). In the game, the launch star is placed on the planet, but in Whitehole, it is placed waaay off the planet.

Nice hack compliments, i would recommend doing a DS version as well so you can give everyone the chance to play even those who do not have the wii, you could also take full advantage of the DS features and also use the enemies that in nsmbw do not appear.


That's not as easy as you think... besides, there wouldn't be a point. They're working really hard and a DS version would just delay... everything. It might be possible once this Wii version is done, but highly doubtful.
