i'm really lucky, i was able to graduate high school early. right now, i don't need to worry about that sort of stuff ^^

pretty much, yeah.
then i had to find the file where all the names of the Miis were kept, and changed all those to have "Sans" somewhere in it (the game doesn't pull the name of the Mii from the Mii data file, it pulls them from a text .bmg file) ____________________ yeah |

that means your game crashed. i don't think it's your .msbt file causing the crash, but it's likely that you didn't assign your Toad NPC a MessageID of 0.
also, this part isn't necessary, but it will make your text neater: <font color="red" size="large"/>SUBSCRIBE<font color="none"/>!<font size="normal"/> ____________________ yeah |

but yeah, that should work. does it only crash when you talk to Toad? and does it crash when you talk to other NPCs in the galaxy? (Star Bunny is available, and there are two SignBoards that need 2P mode on to appear) ____________________ yeah |
