PC (Windows, Linux, Mac) Android (via .apk installation*) Ever since Doki Doki Literature Club came out, I've been getting more and more interested in visual novels/dating simulators... I wanted to make a dating simulator where the player dates Super Hackio, but that evolved into adding more characters like Skek and MarioBurger71, and eventually, I decided that Ren'Py (a coding language based off Python specifically made for visual novels) would be perfect for creating an entire game filled with many different Kuribo characters! And so... here's Kuriboshimu! (Name by salty) A dating simulator that consists of multiple endings featuring your favorite Kuribo64 members, such as: Super Hackio Skek MarioBurger71 salty ...and more secret characters! (shh!) And now, here is a VERY EARLY preview of the game! (This was made mainly to show that I have a working game - and that character art is being made by Kelly!) The video is already highly outdated and I'm planning on remaking it, this time with the new text box and name colors, along with other cool stuff I have now. This video has no sound. Now, I know Kuribo64-based games haven't always worked out... but because Ren'Py is made specifically for these types of games, it makes it a billion times easier to code, and with the fact that Python code can be inserted anywhere, it's a highly powerful engine/language. So, here's the credits (of our small team~): Note - Do not ask to be a character in the game. This is a big reason why I decided to make this thread now instead of when there's plenty to show - because I want the community involved and I want people to have a chance at getting in the game, even if it's a small role. All character slots have been filled. However, if you still want to be a music designer or background artist, feel free to let me know, either here in PMs or on Discord @RealHeroicGamer#3565. And so, with that in hand, get ready! This game will be one to remember! *The Google Play Store may be an option after all! Thanks to iyenal, Kuriboshimu might be listed on the Google Play Store after completion. The same goes for the Windows 10 Microsoft Store! The Android version will still be the same game with complete story and routes, however some features may be missing in the Android release. Sorry about that. :/ ____________________ yeah |
