Hello, I am Arctus, and I hack MKDS, NSMB(from time to time), and Pokemon FireRed(again, from time to time). And today, I had a sudden urge to try SM64DS Hacking again, after stopping around the end of 2014.

For some reason, I get an error when trying to edit a level in the latest version of the editor.

It says, "Index was outside the bounds of the array."

As for the details, here is what it says(although I'm not sure if this will help or not):

As far as I'm aware, the editor will only let me open the collision map editor. And upon loading the main game in Desmume, everything seems to be black, and the minimap is a garbled mess...

I hadn't modified any levels at all yet, so I'm not really sure what could be going on...

And as far as I know, the rom is US, but I'm not sure which revision...

Okay thanks, I know the version now, it's US version 1.

But the thing is, I hadn't modified any of the levels yet, and attempting to open any of them just results in the error that I stated above.

I like Dr Pepper a bit, but I rarely have it, and then there's Root Beer and Coca Cola, which I've liked since I was little. Although these days, I drink water more...

I think my mom and stepdad plan on having me try an alcoholic beverage when I turn 21 next year, which I'm okay with, but it will likely be the only time that I ever do so(unless of course, I end up enjoying it)...

I don't know exactly what they're planning, but I've heard that they might only give me hard root beer(which I hadn't heard about until a few weeks ago) or something...

I've been getting a bunch of weird dreams lately, and the most recent one is from a couple of nights ago. All I really remember from it was what I'm assuming was a blue salamander that kept changing size at random, and that I had blurry vision and had to wear glasses...

I usually only listen to music whenever I'm sleeping or working on something, and to a lesser extent, while I'm travelling with my family and I don't have anything to do except for looking out of the car window...

I prefer handwritten schoolwork, and miss when the only thing school computers were really used for was for teachers to take attendance and to do research for specific assignments that required it, but then again, school only really introduced computers as a major tool, and by that I mean cloud storage and the like, once I was a junior in high school(or at least from my experience), with the exception of computer programming classes and such.

But at least I don't really need to worry about school too much anymore, although, I do sometimes miss it, for whatever reason...

I really like Super Mario Advance 2, and Super Mario Advance 4, but that's mainly because they were the only two I owned when I was 6 and re-owned when I was 9(since I lost my original copies, as well as my GBA, my mom thinks one of my uncles stole them).

I even still have my newer copy of SMA2, albeit, without the label anymore, since I used to take my DS outside a lot. But the reason I no longer have SMA4 is because one of my sisters, I think, gave my newer copy of SMA4 to our neighbors without my permission.

Another game I really like now, but didn't as a 9 year old, was Mario Kart Super Circuit, and the main thing I like about Super Circuit is the music and course designs, and of course having played MK64 when I was 7 or 8, I expected MKSC to have 3d courses, much to my 9 year old self's disappointment, and I also used to hate it because I was terrible at it, but not so much now, since I actually know how to drift.

Now, as far as Pokemon goes, I didn't start playing until I found a copy of Crystal in my grandfather's garage when I was 11(which, to this day, is my favorite Pokemon game), but that's a GBC game, not GBA. But, I remember someone who played Emerald on his SP, back when I was at a summer daycare service for elementary school kids in 2006, and he was a bit rude to me whenever I wanted to watch him play his game, as well as whenever I would ask if something was wrong with his system because I thought the overworld poison effect was his SP freaking out.

Also, I've played a bit of Super Mario Advance and Super Mario Advance 3 using an emulator(and SMA at a Toys R Us GBA SP kiosk), but I think I would like them more if I had them as actual GBA carts, as I feel they were intended to be played.

When I was 9, I didn't even know that the SNES courses were in MKSC until a semi-friend of mine(I say semi-friend because he was a client of my grandfather or something, so I didn't see him very often) showed me that they were in the game, and even then, I didn't even know that SMK even existed, because, well, I was 9.

Also, somewhat related, I love how most people think that MKSC is the only Mario Kart game without the main series tune in the title theme, but if you listen closely, you'll find it, it's just heavily remixed to fit the rest of the title theme.

It was because of SMA4 that all versions of SMB3 became my favorite 2d Mario game(with SMW and SMA2 being a close second collectively), since it was the first of the two Mario games I got and played when I was 6 (the other being SMA2), and even though I couldn't even get past the first pipe in World 1-1(pretty pathetic in my opinion) for several months after I got the game, I still found it to be a pretty good game when I finally got good enough to beat it.

Well, here is me, waiting at the bus stop in the cold last night, just to go get some steaks and other stuff from the store with my stepdad, who was on the bus I was waiting for.

I finished Metroid Fusion a few days ago, and I think I'm near the end of Metroid Prime, granted, I'm emulating both, but they're still pretty good games, in my opinion, and I would definitely buy them if I ever get the chance. And another game that I play from time to time is Crazy Taxi, but it's the Gamecube version, since I can't get certain Dreamcast emulators to work and the one that does, doesn't have controller support(that, and the Gamecube version is the one that I remember playing when I was younger).

I finally finished Metroid Prime a few days ago, and finished Super Metroid about a week or so ago.

I started on Metroid Prime 2 right after finishing Metroid Prime, but I get stuttering, which is a bit annoying, since I'm playing on Dolphin. So I'll probably wait until I have a job so I can get it and play it without the stuttering.

I got a non-XL New 3ds a couple of days ago, and for cheap too, $129.99, in comparison to its usual price, at least. I also downloaded two Virtual Console titles for it with my remaining money, Super Metroid and Pokemon Crystal.
