I try to summarize and collection all the projects I done through the years, because I start to forget what I done, and being very valuable for me I think it's important to put all of this in a secured place.
And trying to hope that 2019 will be better globally speaking. Humanly, politically, ecologically... because today the future looks not that much secured just see around of you... Every year we try to do better, to change the ways we used to proceed, but every year we just do worse...

Maybe sometime, I will write a book....

I'm fairly new to these forums and Super mario galaxy hacking as a whole so when I run SMGExtractor and it takes 4+ days

It is probably not usual, except if you run it on an IBM PC.
But you know you can extract an ISO/WBFS with Dolphin Emulator, WiiScrubber, WIT... so maybe you should try with them.

Also I think that if you feel convenient with Sketchup, continue to use it. SKP is a lot underrated, but it can also do very good modellism in some cases, even that it is true that for game development other modelling software like Maya may be more adapted.
But if Sketchup does the job for you, no one have to force you to change!
