but they're not affiliated.

I'll go ahead and change it to just other forums to visit (Acmlm board archive 2 does this in their affiliates box)

Also, I am serious about using 1.92. I am gonna get it fixed up and then host it somewhere for people to download as 2.0 and abxd don't have some of the features 1.92 has such as user ratings and I prefer that version of the board overall. Its been my dream to have an acmlm board 1.92 running since at least 2011.

Also, again, I know I'm probably gonna get grilled over this but does anyone happen to have a copy of 1.A0, 1.A1, 1.A3 and 1.B0? Trying to find all the acmlm board versions so I can rehost them for nostalgic purposes. And does l.ol exist or is it just 1.B0. If you go to archive 2, you can see it powers that board when you scroll to the bottom and was wondering if anyone would happen to have a download of that version in addition to the ones listed above. Thanks in advanced

l.ol is a custom thing for the actual acmlm's board, nothing that you would find for download

and you're not gonna have fun trying to patch 1.92 LOL

there's more bugs there than you'd see in a bug's life

edit: also do fix Index.html to be index.html. the lowercase makes it not show the domain contents.

I hear acmlm boards are of swiss cheese class but I can figure out a way to make it of cheddar cheese class. Or I could make it of Feta cheese class where it starts off fine but then crumbles as people use it. Just kidding, don't want to do that. I think cheddar cheese class is better anyways.

EDIT: Here's some of the changes I did to 1.92 to make it not boring looking. (this is in Xampp) I finally figured out how to add in a logo and how to make the new thread/poll/reply buttons into clickable images. Gonna work on some more themes and ranksets now. Also, why won't posts show up? It's because of the php version isn't it? [image]

Supposed to be on a break from most message boards but gonna make a comeback for one post.

Why are you bothering? You don't need to run a forum, unless you already established a userbase somewhere else...

Cause I know some users on another forum I frequent and want to get some other users from other forums registered as well.

Discord is one of the reasons that AIM is going/went under. IRC wouldn't of been popular had it not been the Acmlm boards using it. I know this place and Kafuka use it but those may switch over to Discord since you can use that in your browser as I think IRC is completely external (as in you need to download something rather than an applet opening in browser)

Posted on 07-21-18 02:53 AM, in Online radio station (rev. 3 of 07-21-18 03:02 AM) Link | #95155
Note: Millennial oriented classic hits refers to classic hits stations that play 2000's music in addition to 80's and 90's, while significantly cutting back on 1960's to 1970's tracks to artists that almost everyone will probably know (such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones). This term was just coined by me just now.

Who here knows of any great places to do an online radio station for free? I have plans to create a classic hits station, but tweak the format a bit. There will be little in the way of 60's and 70's music in it with the only artists from those decades represented being artists such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, otherwise this will focus on 80's 90's and 2000's music. Yes, you read that right, 2000's music, something never done before on classic hits stations. The music will range from 1980-2009 with a few 1960's and 1970's tracks (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, etc) thrown in here and there, mainly because almost everyone has heard of them. There may also be the occasional 2010's track thrown in, but it will mainly be songs with an authentic retro feel. Examples of this include; Kenny Chesney and Pink, World on Fire, 2016, (sounds like 1980's music), Bruno Mars, 24k Magic, 2017 (sounds like 70's disco), Capital Cities, Safe and Sound, and Stayin Alive, 2013 (sounds like 80's music), etc. I'd prefer it to be a place where the song's are already uploaded for you, and you just pick which ones you want in a playlist, and then hit play. I probably will not do anything live, except maybe an evening all request show where anything from the 1980's to the 2000's is fair game. This would run from 7 PM to 12 AM. I would probably not run it, but rather have someone else run it if they are willing to do so. If no one wants to run it, I'll scrap the idea and just automate it. The tracks will be stuff everyone knows, plus a few tracks by artists you might not know about (such as Sparks, etc). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would love for this to get off the ground, and so you can tell your friends that you just heard The All American Rejects on the oldies station.

i'd recommend you get your own server and find some sort of software for it. free ain't gonna get you anywhere...

oh and welcome back

Would a free server work for this? Cause I have one in mind that might work for this. And thanks!

I don't listen to that much music but a millennial radio station sounds interesting

I am in the process of making a Fire Red hack. Every time I finish it, I come up with new ideas to add into it, with the most recent additions being Sylveon, the Fairy type, the fairy stone, and Shedinja Hove (intentionally spelled that way due to text constraints on items).

Here is the IPS file of the game. The name of it is the rom you need. The file can be found here. Hope you enjoy.

Credit for a majority of the sprites go to Serebii, Bulbapedia, Nintendo, Game Freak, whoever made the Dragoneon and Ghosteon sprite on Pinterest, and Apharia on Serebii for the Irion and Cloudon sprites. Credit for the Steel, cloud, Upgrade, Doubious, Fairy, and Dragon stones go to me since I made those myself, but used an existing stone and a TM as the base. Even though I made it, Shedinja Hove credit goes to Nintendo/Gamefreak since I used the Hoove from a ripped Shedinja sprite.

If there is already a thread for this, I apologize in advanced. I looked and didn't see one from what I could tell. Anyways, use this thread to share your Mario Maker Levels (AKA, the course ID. It can be found in course world by clicking the minus button, selecting a course and then using the gamepad to tap on ID). If a course ID is broken, please post here so not only the course maker knows, but other users as well. Here are my courses. Let these serve as an example of how your posts should be in here.

Course name: That was easy! ID: 11A8-0000-03B5-A4E3

Course name: Extremely Easy ID: BABE-0000-03B5-A134

Course name: Turtles Abound ID: 3DB3-0000-03B5-7770

Course name: Gold Rush ID B250-0000-03B5-B11A

Let me know if any of these ID's are broken. Have fun!

Important notice: Windows XP is highly recommended as that version's windows media player is confirmed to work with this. Windows vista and later use is buggy when doing this and their use is not recommended (though some people got this to work on those OSes).

Any of you remember those grey gba cartridges made by Majesco that played videos on your gba such as Fairy OddParents, etc? Well, I took Everything You Want by Vertical Horizon, converted it from mp4 to avi, and then to gba from avi. I then popped it into Visual Boy Advance to test it out and it worked like a charm. You aren't technically hacking the original video roms, rather, the converted video makes its own .gba files. I'd share the file, but it's illegal to do so (especially since it's music), and making an IPS patch wouldn't work (and see the above parentheses). If this thread is not allowed in anyway shape or form, please edit this out and trash this.

It'd be compressed to death but the novelty of doing this sounds brilliant. Care to share a video of this? :)

But how did you convert it to GBA format? You didn't explain what tools/etc you used or what codecs etc

I am soo sorry. I will explain now.

Important notice: Windows XP is highly recommended as that version's windows media player is confirmed to work with this. Windows vista and later use is buggy when doing this and their use is not recommended (though some people got this to work on those OSes).

Step 1: Getting Atube

Download Atube and install it. Go to youtube, or daily motion or something similar and search for a video (such as Saturday Night Live or something similar), and copy the address bar link.

Step 2: Downloading the video

Open up Atube if it isn't already and paste the url from your video into the program's url bar. Hit download and it should pop up a box telling you of multiple formats. Select the mp4 format with the lowest resolution (so, if you have 500x500 and 100x100, select the 100x100 one). Hit the button in the box to download it to your desktop I believe. Close Atube.

Step 3: Downloading WinFF 1.5.4

Download WinFF 1.5.4 and install it. Open it.

Step 4: Converting from mp4 to avi

Make sure convert to and preset are set to AVI and MS COMPATIBLE AVI respectively. Click add and browse to your mp4 file you just got (Example: Saturday Night Live 1/1/1978.mp4) Click convert and it should convert.

Step 5: Downloading Meteo

Download Meteo and extract it to your desktop or whatever. Open it.

Step 6: Converting from avi to gba

In Movie File field, select browse next to it and point it to your newly created AVI. For the GBA field, click browse, point it to where you want to save it and type in an appropriate name (Example: Saturday Night Live. The .GBA extension is added automatically, so no need to include that when typing in the file name) Hit save. In the ROM name field type in an appropriate name 12 characters or less. Change the bitrate to 500 (you may need to monkey around with this setting a bit depending on the video used) and then click process. It should work. If it errors, its because the file is over 32mb and needs to be shrunk somehow (It can error even if the file is less than 32mb, due to the fact it increases the file size and can increase it higher than 32mb)

Step 7: Testing it out in Visual Boy Advance

Open it up in Visual Boy Advance with sound up and it should work. If it does, you can then move on to some optional steps to make these files portable and playable on an actual GBA or even a 3DS if you'd like.

Step 8 (optional): Playing on a GBA flash cart or a 3DS

To play this on a GBA, use a GBA cartridge flash cart and copy the video rom over. To play it on a 3DS, go here and scroll down to the download links. Download the gba to cia converter from one of those links and extract it to your desktop or whatever. Open it up and load your rom. It won't know its game data so for the first page chose 32mb for rom size and None for save state. Click next and input the publisher info and an icon (Example: Long Name: Saturday Night Live 1/1/1978 Short Name: SNL Publisher: NBC). The icon must be 40x40 and preferebly be the SNL logo print screened from the rom opened in VBA. In the next page, use the same logo, but in bigger size (the program will tell you), and for the last page, just hit convert. Once done, copy the CIA into the CIA's folder on your 3DS sd card. Insert it back into your 3DS and import the CIA as you would any other CIA's (with FBI). Load it up and it should work like it did on VBA. Congratulations! You can now watch just about any tv show, movie, video, etc on your GBA/3DS.

I looked this up and it's for enterprise and professional users only. Once support ends in 2020 for regular Windows 7 users, that's it. If you're enterprise or professional, then after 2020, through at least 2023, you'd have to pay, similar to what you can do with Windows XP if you need updates for that.

The point of this game is to post a wish and then have it granted, but corrupted by another user. Look at these examples.

I wish for a Nintendo Switch.

Granted, but after you dock it for the first time, it becomes permanently stuck in TV mode.

I'll start this off.

I wish Elara of Xeogaming could get one million dollars every time she wears an oxygen mask, allowing her early retirement.
