This is a good idea, but it's not easy to make ASM hacks....

I would personality like a spin jump and in-air twirl.

There's no such way, as far as I know. I did work out a labeling system though.

It's just a tile that shows what the invisible tile to the left of it is, along with an arrow pointing left so you know.

Nobody wants to work on ASM for this game, except one person.

We can already make semisolid invisibles.

In the Coinkiller tileset editor. Select any white blank tile, and change it's behavior to `Solid on Top`

Whenever I try to save in a second area, all the sprites in the area disappear.

Make sure that the zones start at Zone 0 on the second area. If there aren't previous zones in the area, setting the Zone to 1 or greater will cause sprites to disappear.

I'm assuming it's related to how the game handles Zones and Areas.

The Co-Op mode was nice to see though, so at least we have that. If we could have those multiplayer coin outlines, that would be cool too.

So, I heard you like night backgrounds, eh? (Even though Nohara already has one)

Should be dark blue, not black.

It looks okay, but I think you need to do the following things:

- Make sure every level has a theme. The theme should be a gimmick, or sometimes even an enemy. Pick around 3/4 main enemies.

- On some levels, introduce a twist on the gimmick halfway through.

- Make sure the level increases in difficulty overall, but has little breaks for the player to get a powerup.

- Please fix your coin arcs. Remember that Mario can jump over around 5 blocks when running, and 4 blocks when walking. Coins should only be used to lead the player, and as bonus/decoration coins. Make sure Mario can actually get them, and he doesn't need to jump at a specific angle to get them.

- Don't make your level kaizo by placing enemies in awkward spots.

- You need to put more creative bonus areas in your levels, along with a bit more blocks. Also, try to have the terrain not be flat and boring. Add decorations, and add slopes/mountain ledges to spice the level up a bit.

A trailer might be made eventually, but right now the mod is in its mid-stages, with a demo released. With the current progression of ASM hacking, maybe one or two will make it into this mod. ;)

Special thanks to: explos, shibboleet, ElyosOfTheAbyss, pumpkin_pips, Arisotura, RicBent, FouzBerzerk (Logo)
I am the only person working on this mod, and aim to release it in Summer 2017.

If anyone is curious about NSMB2 modding, shibboleet made a Discord server for it over at https://discord.gg/6nmSXXB

(Most of NSMB2 stuff gets done there)

Ok, that last screenshot drives me crazy with the clashing of colors. I know I'm working on a freezeflame hack, but please, use a better background

There are only two suitable snow backgrounds, and this is my only good option.

Wait..I thought you were blind... (. ) (. )

Yeah, it's hard to make custom / retextured Backgrounds.

AND i'm making a autumn world too, but my Version is world 1 :)

I actually had World 1 planned initially, but it wouldn't make much sense. :P

What about world 5 and the two bonus Worlds? You not doing those?

The two bonus worlds are not being done, unless someone has any ideas or something. World 5 is being done partially as a transition world. (Kind of how Newer Summer Sun doesn't have all levels in all worlds)

He responded with that because you literally answered your own question, in the question. You have to load unpacked files, but you're trying to load a rom.

TO-DO: Rerip the two tilesets I ripped that overwrite already existing tilesets, NSLU Grassland, extra NSMBU/NSLU Grassland tiles, other Sky tileset colors, background rocks (all colors).

You don't need to rerip them, just make a copy of the tileset, name it differently, and use Coinkiller's SARC Explorer to rename every old name inside the sarc to the new name.
