It's better when it's not transparent. I suggest you lower the overall contrast of the background, probably by darkening it overall. They seem really distracting.

Alright, I've decided to not make it transparent since in some way, it does look a little better, but I am not really happy with the dark blue things. Does anybody else have an idea for another color? Also, I have darken the image a bit.

My biggest problem with the image is the signature. It is an ugly dark blue box. I only had a signature layout there because it looks uglier when removed.

I've decided to give it a brown color. I have plans for changing its font, but I'll leave it as it is for now. What do you guys think?

It's not bad, though I think the brown should be muted a bit, like saturation should be turned a notch down.

Alright, I've decided to tone down on the brown.

I have very recently gotten a couple of Virtual Console and WiiWare Games from the Wii Shop on my original Wii. I am also planning to get another game which I have the demo of.

I have at least a couple of virtual console games that could work for injections. The only WiiWare game I bought that wasn't a trial is World of Goo. It seems like a pretty decent game where you touch the screen and it is oddly kind of cute.

It sucks to see the Wii Shop die, I really hope like the DSIWare games, most of the WiiWare and Virtual Console games will be put on the Wii U, New 3DS, and even the Nintendo Switch if they can do that.

Also, I've heard that NSMBW got an HD Remake in China or something.

I discovered on it NSMBHD because StapleButter is a Staff on there and I was reading a couple of posts from our Purple Broken Warp Pipe. Being a fan of him in general, I've decided to join. When I do, I see some cool things and some morons in the Trash Can that make my day. Feel bad for him sometimes having to deal with these people though.

And... That's it.

I think this was a month ago or something, I had a dream where (I guess) I was watching a horror movie or some stupid crap where there was a scene were a woman in her own car at a car wash and it started to go out of the car wash by itself and there was another girl who about to save her also in her own car (I think she originally wanted to kill her but had a change of heart?).

The next landscape was on the inerstate (I guess that was where the car wash took place, in the middle of freaking nowhere) and something happens I guess she saved her. Some accidents happen and a truck drives on oil and explodes. After that, lighting from the sky strucks down on the truck and even on some mud the women landed on, because logic. Then they both jump off a cliff and became mermaids into some secret base or something. Also for some reason, I remember them both being vampires. To put it simply, they could have been vampire mermaids... And it was in the daylight just like Twlight.

Yes, this just topped my previous delusion. They fact I was able to remember what happens is amazing.

Trying to use Hombrew Applications on your Wii is like learning how to speak Spanish at age 5. You need SD Cards to put crap on there and an adapter to put even more crap on there. I could imagine how the Wii U is like!

There isn't too much time left for the Wii Shop but I've bought a couple of games and even put a couple on my SD Card.

Firstly, the "Homebrew Channel" and that channel with the gear called "Riivolution" are not from the Wii Shop and are unlicesend Nintendo Software. For unfamilar folks, this is how we hack our Wii. No Piracy required.

As for the SMS & SNES Channels, those are both "Sonic the Hedgehog" and "DKC2". And the N64 Channel is "Z:OFT". These Virtual Console Channels were acquired just for Injections but I plan to play them uniroinacly and there is one new game I paid for termed "Jett Rocket". It seems like an intresting platformer game where you play as some dude with a jetpack and some weird ship in the background. While it has bad camera controls, it has a very nice and retro level design that reminds of Super Mario 64, but linear.

Do you guys know any other WiiWare/Virtual Console games I should get before it disables points?

Edit: Added different words to be less Redudant.

What a pity that the 3DS sequel isn't of the same quality.

I was curious and decided to find a screenshot... And I found one of the worst character redesigns ever:
He looks... sort of cool, but he looks like Alex Kidd's and Jimmy Neutron's child.

I kind of tried it out and... I honestly didn't like it that much. I mean, I didn't hate it but the controls to me, aren't that good. I am biased, if I were to play a little better at the game, I might have really enjoyed it. It wouldn't been that bad, if it wasn't for the camera. The cam just sort of tilts badly and the water globs tend to go away, even on the tutorial it was difficult. I might have more fun playing it on 3DS but I'm pretty sure it would have similar controls. I know Mario Kart 7 has tilt controls so I'm pretty nervous about that.

It should be mentioned that the Wii Shop had have better indie games than that on the Wii U and I have no idea why. I mean, it isn't as powerful as its competitors but, you think there would have been quality control on that console's shop. I've seen games that looked like it would have been on the original Wii or even the Nintendo DS. To be fair though, even the Wii Shop had below-average games too, like those "Family" ones which I never played but seeing videos of it, it reminds me of those medicore shovelware games that the Wii would mostly have. I'm I the only who thinks Nintendo has made the best Wii exclusives, while other compainies kind of sucked it? I mean, you could make motion controls a bit too gimicky, even as a guy who can handle them.

Pretty much. I get that the Wii is a motion controlled console but that doesn't mean everything has too be gestured based or at least exlcusivly. It would be one thing if it also allowed you to use it without advanced controls. But I hate when sometimes, I can only shake the remote to attack or slam to break boxes. Especially, if the Wii Remote is the only control. Though in other games, it isn't too bad. Don't even bring me on the DS's microphone, where you have to blow into it. This is a big problem in Nintendo Land's (Wii U, but it also has a mic feature) Donkey Kong Mini-Game where you have to puff into platforms to make them go up.

Does anyone have ever mention this video that YouTube has?

So when you get a strike on your video, you have the option to watch this one. I never have gotten a strike, but I can imagine how annoying it is to do a crappy quiz on copyright. Also, yes, that is Russel from Happy Tree Friends, becasue YouTube was to lazy to make original characters.

The video itself has many problems like the aformentioned laznies with using HTF characters, aggravating and cringeyworthy narrator, and a whole lot of bad information. If you look at the video, it has a ton of dislikes and the coments are disabled. There is also 101 Subscriptions with Cuddles, but I don't really care. I guess YouTube thinks your stupid so it teaches you how to subscribe and unsubscribe, I assume. Maybe you could like that video instead if you're HTF fan.

Also, I love how they don't credit MondoMedia for what they done here, despite the fact they made it. :P

Well, yesterday, they disabled points on the Wii Shop. I go to say, it was nice knowing the Wii Shop exsits. I really hope in 2019, the pay tribute to it by having the Wii Shop Music play in the background of the eShop on the Wii U. I remember going on the eShop and music did change sometimes so I don't see why they can't change it to the Wii Shop on its shutdown.

This does mean however, that a ton of Virtual Console games are dead. The imported games are gone, other non-Nintendo Consoles, no longer avabile to download. If the Nintendo Switch could have a Virtual Console service, I would like to see most of the old VC games that were exclusive to the Wii, get on that console. I even have an idea on how it works. (Warning, this is going to nerdtastic)

When you open up a game, you can press a button or whatever to open up the Virtual Console Menu. This is similar to the Wii U's Virtual Console Menu with its Savestates and stuff. Just like Sonic Mania, I think filters to change the game to look like a CRT TV would be nice. A lot of Virtual Console games usually have the flaw of having the games not stretched to the TV so, black bars. A cool idea I can think of is a stretched mode. I think GB/GBC games have that ability on GBA (SMB Deluxe at least), but I think it would be cool for VC Switch games.

The Wii and its concept design were very revolutionary for the generation, I say.

I couldn't agree with you more. The Wii is my favorite video game console of time because of all the new ways you can play. Nintendo seems to always do that. Even if you look in their worst games, Nintendo puts a fresh concept in almost all of them. NSMBW (Not an example of their worst) had 4 Player Coop and a battle mode where you fought to have the most coins. Even back in NSMBDS, there is a Multiplayer System where you can fight to get the most Big Stars. And in the beta version of that game, there was a Multiplayer Coop similar to what its sequel has.

By far the best thing about it is, despite the fact it was realeased during the Xbox 360 craze, the Wii isn't an HD console. I feel like Nintendo is the biggest company that cares way more about making a fun console, than having the most excellent graphics (although they do care about that too)! The 3DS was much weaker than any of the rivaling consoles (maybe more than the Vita) and the Wii U is stated to be weakest of all the other rivaling companies. However, they had their own unique thing. I can't think of anything that unique from the PS3 and the PS4 and the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, besides PS4 having some motion thingy on that control that acts like those DrawU thingys. The 3DS has Streetpass and a lot other things. Even freaking Netflix works on it (What next, the Nintendo Switch could make french toast?!)! Even the controversial "New" 3DS is basically a more powerful version of that console. The Wii U suffers from bad advertistments and an uncreative name but it has that gamepad (the Switch would later that that concept and make it portable), amiibos (another controversial thing), and it once had Miiverse. The Switch seems to take both ideas from their console by having 2 remotes that act like Wii Remotes but they can also act like an average game controller. The games like Zelda and Mario show off what the Switch is capable off. They are both explorable and vast.

And... that was the most Nintendo Fanboy I have ever got. I'm deeply sorry. I like Sony and Microsoft too though. :)

Let's look if the NinSwitch can replicate that success. ;)

What’s so great about multiplayer in NSMB? I know it’s fun but is it really that awesome?

I thought it was. Sure, it doesn't hold up and hacking wise, it is the most difficult thing to make but I just like the chaos that happens when you collect a lot of coins and get a power-up. I remember playing it with someone who wasn't that great at it and we had fun. Similary, the SM64DS Minigames were Multiplayer supported and to me that was good as well, even if it was amusing with 2 people.

Wait no, the Game Boy prints money via the Game Boy Printer if you can find reliable printer paper for it. ^_^

I hope Wii U Homebrew and CFW get a chance to atleast make something out of the Wii U for consolation.

I haven't really hacked my Wii U yet. Mainly because of the updates that fix some bugs and I'm afraid I could banned on Nintendo Network just for hacking. That's also why I haven't done 3DS hacking yet, even though theres NSMB2 Hacks and DS hacking avabile for it.

I have a deep adoration for games such as the Mario Sports titles, Mario Party, Left 4 Dead 2, etc. I always have someone to play games with.

And now my cheeks are red!

I haven't played Multiplayer with a bunch of humans since... 5 months I guess! I recall playing Nintendo Land, Marios, and even Pac-Man Party (I don't own any Mario Parties) with my cousins and their friend. I don't even do the online version of it that much. Even though I have Mario Kart 8 for my previously mentioned Wii U, I don't really think about playing it plenty of times, yet I'm without a doubt, good at it. Worse, most of them requires you to pay for something or create an account which I don't like doing. I look back on the Wii & DS, just connect and boom! Online! Xbox, Playstation, even the Wii U and Nintendo Switch, have to let you build an account or pay extra money, as if buying the console isn't already enough.

I absolutely like games where you help another character. It's the closet thing to multiplayer without anyone. LEGO games and DKC games are basically these.

It's the only game where you explore the Beanbean Kingdom. The Mushroom Kingdom is overrated. :P

I love it when Mario games let you explore kingdoms that isn't the Mushroom Kingdom. SMB2 took place in Subcon aka Mario's Dream. I know Dream Team sort of explored that concept but I never played that game. I would like another Mario game that took place in that same location.

Also, I'd really like for this to get to the Virtual Console.
[thumbnail]

Yes, it is basically the game I mentioned earlier, but Doki Doki Panic is an important part of Nintendo's history and there are some changes to the game like having no run button, Wart (Mamu in Doki Doki Panic) taking 4 hits instead of 2, the Phantos are slightly more aggresive, an albino Mouser boss (I guess his brother?) that is harder than most of the other Mouser bosses, there was a higher cloud portion in 7-1, has a save feature, and a different shortcut in 6-3.

So yeah, I would totally play it, if it wasn't for the legal issues:
Posted by "TVTropes"
Since Fuji Television holds the rights to the characters (and is not very eager to remind folks how much of a wet toot Yume Kōjō was as an event), it could be a long time before the game ever gets re-released in its unaltered form on Virtual Console - it only barely made recent mentions in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U by omitting the Yume Kōjō trademark from the game's title.

But it's almost possible. Speaking of white mice, in SMBLL there is a Blue Bowser.

I bring that up, because he just seems intresting to me. On Mario Wiki, this guy is a Fake Bowser that appears in 8-4, he tries to defeat Mario/Luigi by breathing fire and throwing hammers as seen in the photo. When you kill him, he flips upside-down rather than becoming an enemy. On D-4:
SPOILER WARNING:

When you destroy him, he becomes a spiny.
Bowser's 8th color in SSB4 is a reference to him. He is quite the mystery to me.

Considering the sales of SMB2, I'm not that suprised. SMB2 sold 7.46m copies. That doesn't sound that bad, but the first game sold 40.24m copies. And SMB3 sold 17.28m copies.

I've also ranked these metacritic user scores:
SMB2 - 7.9
SMB1 - 8.6
SMB3 - 8.9

The lowest rated game on here is SMB2. As for reasons, I've looked up on TVTropes. The game is considered to be a contested sequel:

Posted by "TVTropes"
Among fans, this game is one of two things: a very different but fun Mario game that deserves its status in the series as a classic, or a lazy ROM hack of an unrelated Japanese game that, while good, doesn't belong in the franchise.

Posted by "TVTropes"
Its status as a sprite swap ensures that Doki Doki Panic is almost always brought up in media that refers to this.

I've always got annoyed with the whole "SMB2 sucks because it is a lie!" crap. Who honestly cares that SMB2 was based of a Japan only title? The only time it makes sense is if you live in Japan.

Yes, Nintendo decided to rerealse the game in Japan as Super Mario USA while Doki Doki Panic was also released in that country. And now, Doki Doki Panic characters (not counting Imajin, Mama, Lina, Papa, and Poki and Piki) are part of Mario history.

But back on topic, as much as it sucks to hear these complaints, I understand why Nintendo hasn't done another in years. SMB2 is the lowest selling of the original trilogy.
