On the subject of smart cars, can't manual countermeasures prevent automated remote bullcrap from happening? Or will the black hats make it so you can't switch to manual when your car is going haywire?

I do like the advancements in medicine and scientific applications though. Our early ancestors lived and died at an old age of, like, 30, while today, more and more people are living to be 100 years old. Plus, those advancements make it tougher to die from a horrible death due to some disease.

Um, the overpopulation crisis isn't really apparent in the US or in most developed countries. It's more apparent in developing countries like India or Nigeria, where there's a lack of education and lack of access to birth control.
Hell, Japan's birth rate is lower than its death rate, and even though the country is crowded, it would actually hurt them in the long run. |

I'm still virtually powerless now so there's not much I can do aside from not taking my dad's lies to heart.

I've seen Smart Contact lenses tech, it looks extremely intrusive. Contact lenses are supposed to simulate not wearing glasses, not be as intrusive as displaying UIs and crap.

Dad doesn't know how to take a joke and criticism, but I wish I can deflect his temper tantrums off my emotions.

Anthropogenic global warming is a fact accepted by all major scientific institutions, including NASA, NOAA, EPA, etc. That one month that was absurdly cold is simply just cherry-picking and magnifying in what should be a big picture thing. The overall trend is warming up, as you see from the line-graph trend of global average temperatures.
I'm not so sure about the extent we're causing it, but our burning of fossil fuels is most certainly contributing to it and hence why it's an issue that needs to be taken seriously. |

I just ignore it, like most windows that pop up whenever I insert a flash drive into there. Became second nature for me.

Posted by StapleButter Honestly, I didn't find Baby Mario's cry to be that annoying in Yoshi's Island. I can live with it. However, Nintendo is still dipshits for making Baby Mario an unlikable character, so unlikable that you want to save him just to shut him up, rather than making him so cute and likable that you DON'T want him to get captured. The Yoshi's Island series depiction of him is borderline insulting compared to what Nintendo did to him in the Mario spin-offs, including Partners in Time, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf and the Mario Kart games (but most notably Partners in Time). People conveniently ignore those games that Baby Mario is playable in, where he's a lot better than he is in Yoshi's Island, where although he could cry, he's also shown to be charming and adorable. Hell, those games are the reason I even like him in the first place. Sorry, I had to rant, I'm a Baby Mario fan who does agree that Baby Mario is a waste of space in Yoshi's Island, but everywhere else he's awesome. |

Why can't Microsoft get rid of their shitty MS Paint and just make Paint.net come pre-installed in every machine instead.

We're biologically the same person, just split apart. Identical twins start out like that.
Love being able to get away with rerigging because we're a natural one. |

They told them to not upload sprites of their major games before they were released worldwide, I believe.
I remember that happened with Pokemon Black and White sprites. |

It's ironic that we're unique by being rip-offs of each other
